Mobilink 4G (not sure why I'm even mentioning this, but anyway): timeout.
Nexlinx's looking glass portal: TW1 - timeout. PIE - timeout.
PTCL - timeout.

The trace works - until it reaches link11.ociris.com (80.95.152.210). After that, it enters a blackhole.

Trace not going till the end (timing out) but getting ping reply on telenor (which uses PTCL now) and TW.

Timing out on my PTCL wired connection, pretty weird.

p.s Use MTR for these IP's, UDP packets being dropped in traceroute at the end (i.e. causing timeout at the end).

Not yet. After re-splicing, they tried to check connectivity again but no joy (ONT to FDH). Then he said bahir different port per splicing kerni paray gi but it was raining so they couldn't do it. Apparently they're not allowed to use that expensive machine in the rain, even under an umbrella.

He said tomorrow. Once this is done, maximum 1 or 2 days. I have a feeling them coming today had something to do with my PTA complaint.

Aaaaaand they didn't show up today. Called two different guys 2-3 times each. Bas sir aatay hain. Bas sir phans gaey aik jaga. And the after-iftar call result was 'Sir iftar bhi customer k saath kia, inshallah kal lazmi aaengay'.

I don't blame them that much to be honest. Huge workload, not enough staff. Plus I think he was doing installation at some chick's place so naturally..

Transworld TV is actually pretty good, lots of good quality HD channels. Although their software needs improvements and the box and remote could be nicer for how expensive they are.

Ignore 80 and 443.

Set a static IP on your PS4. Log into your modem settings, enable DMZ for the PS4s IP and enable UPnP if it isn't already. Reboot both modem and PS4 and you should be fine.

I did this when I had DSL and I got Open NAT Type.

I just woke up and turned my PS4 on and its all ok now. I didn't even do anything. I guess there was some issue at the PTCL's end which got fixed on its own.

Hope they finish up with Officers Colony with this not enough staff before eid.

can anyone here tell me about PTCL upload speeds. I am getting same upload and download on my GPON connection. Weren't they offering upload which is 75% of download ??
