I finally met the guy in charge of the whole fiber thing in the exchange today. Ran into my lineman there and he took me to him.

He explained the situation and well, I'm satisfied. He said the service is being activated serial number wise (phone number) because that's how the port configuration is being done in the exchange. For instance, they're working on the 532 series now (531 is almost all finished). So if you're like me and your number is in a later series, you'll have to wait. For my number, he said they'll try to get it done before this weekend.

Can't join most of the German servers in BF3 and BF4, it says UDP 3659 port closed even though all the ports are open. Working fine on Zong 4G.
Can anyone please ping these IPs and check whether they get any response back as I am getting timed out on all of them.

So, 051 is the area code for wah and 7 digits follow after that. Which 3 digits dictate the series? cause my number goes 051-454XXXX

Consider 0514 the code. The following 6 digits are your number. I don't know why they told you to be ready on Monday. If what he said was true, your series comes after mine. Currently they're finishing up 531/532. There's no 533-538 I think. Next in line is 539. Yours will come after that.

Did they do splicing in your handhole? Because the guy said mine isn't done yet and it will be done before the activation.

Consider 0514 the code. The following 6 digits are your number. I don't know why they told you to be ready on Monday. If what he said was true, your series comes after mine. Currently they're finishing up 531/532. There's no 533-538 I think. Next in line is 539. Yours will come after that.

Splicing and everything else has been done and I have power coming through the Fiber. The ONT just needs configuration now.
If it was possible I'd do it myself but I don't know the specific details needed (Like total access and ppp user/pass).
I'll just have to wait on them I guess.

Even if you had the PPPoE credentials, you'd still need the SLID / LOID and an active subscription from the backend. Those are usually done a day before or on the day of your connection activation.

Nexlinx's looking glass portal: TW1 - timeout. PIE - timeout.
PTCL - timeout.

The trace works - until it reaches link11.ociris.com (80.95.152.210). After that, it enters a blackhole.

Traceroutes and pings use ICMP, which some enterprise level routers 'ignore' or consider low priority traffic so the requests time out and they can't be pinged.

This is on PTCL. And Mobilink (which uses TW1)
