Assalamualikum bros,
using ptcl 4mbps adsl/dsl was having great pings in dubai servers like 35 to 40 and all was good but from past 2 weeks having 200 to 300 pings in dubai servers only getting 100 pings in sgp servers well i think before i had different wan default gateway but now i am on 39.50 gateway i think it is because of that any solutions to that and can some one confirm from other wan gateway are they also facing ping problem? there is no issue in speedtest pings or in internet. well have seen many players on ptcl cs go server with decent 20 pings but i am also having huge pings in ptcl own servers. sorry for such a long question i am new.

I'm on the same boat as you man. 39.50 ip pool is giving me really high pings and somehow if i keep restarting my modem to get on 182.170 pool. Pings are back to normal which is the most bizarre thing. Routing is definitely not optimized for the 39.40 and 39.50 ip ranges. Has been going on for 2 months already.

GPON in Phase 4?

Looks like PG knows about PTCL GPON status more than PTCL itself. Shifting to Phase 4 rawalpindi, called 1236, the guy said his console shows ALL OF "Bahria Islamabad" connected with GPON, no separate info on Phase 4, I asked him the contact number of PTCL Exchange, he took few minutes, says he doesnt have it. lul. PTCL doesnt even know the contact info of their own exchanges. On PTCL website GPON coverage shows only civic centre, Executive lodges, bits of Phase III and Safari Villas III. Google map contact number of the exchange dont pick up, Google led me to this thread, read through last hundred or so pages, it seems GPON deployement is in progress in Phase 4.

Can anyone in Bahria town Phase 4 confirm availability of GPON with street number if possible.

I'll PM you a number. Call / text on that and confirm availability for a particular street. Phase 4 isn't very well covered so prepare to be disappointed lol.

Just saw Nayatel people installing hardware in my area. It will be active soon. So ptcl transform package on vdsl is better or nayatel? I know nayatel is not unlimited in day. But overall which one is better. In term of overall service and specially pings in the games.

For pings, Nayatel will probably take the lead, though can't say for sure. My cousin sometimes gets worse pings than I do on Nayatel.

Speed? PTCL.
Packages? PTCL.
Stability? Both.

Choice is yours.

You could call 0800-80800 OR just go to exchange and ask them to process everything.

Just call 1218 and ask them to convert your package to VDSL , they will come to your place to change the modem also.

You r lucky to have nayatel. I would recommend nayatel over PTCL as PTCL is worse when it comes to online games.. Nayatel will give you great ping and great support

Yup, its totally random now. If you get lucky you will get the 182.179 pool. I used to get 182 pool on the 6th or 7th try, but not anymore. I guess I have to make habit now in playing in high pings.

Contacted nayatel for connection but they didn't give any eta for the services in my area although hardware installation is being done. So ordered 20mb transform package from ptcl and also conversion from adsl to vdsl. Now lets see how it goes.

I am getting 145ms on EU servers when on 182 pool. While getting 300+ when on 39 pool IP !

Make sure they actually requested VDSL and not just a package change.
