PTCL is being crap since 2 weeks and since last 5 days pages/yt vids etc won't load on 1st try. Gaming is crap to EU west (NL, Lux), routing through catania is giving high ping to certain IPs from Pak. When you restart router the ip changes and high ping is fixed (have to do this every 2d or so).

High pings are not fixed for me even restarting is not helping :( I dont know when will PTCL fix the routing.

ever since i switched to VDSL(3 months ago) i get constant 10mb speed (atleast 95% of the times)

its only been 10days that i am experiencing speed issues maybe due to some work at the exchange i am not sure...

I get 3mb upload on my VDSL

I’m also having the same issue. To be precise, the problem with the downloading speed started on 24th of January. I’ve complained about it on every possible fora of PTCL, from their live chat services to their Facebook account, but, they haven’t been able to solve it. The guy from the exchange told me to get a new connection, but, now he isn’t responding either. Have your issue been resolved?

Whats ur area?? I am using 20Mbps VDSL Transformed package for a week now and my downloading speeds are awesome.. No slow browsing, i m a live streamer and its serving me really good.

Gushion-Ravi, Lahore. I’m also on 20Mbps VDSL package. I’m only getting 1.8Mbps (220kb/s) as my downloading speed. The uploading speed is fine though, somewhere around 5Mbps. The line parameters are also perfectly fine, and, as per the officials of the PTCL, my line can support up to 70Mbps package. Still, 15 days have been passed, and, they haven’t been able to correct my downloading speed. I’m totally angry and frustrated, now. Any advice on how I can reign in the arrogant employees of PTCL?

The line parameters are also perfectly fine, and, as per the officials of the PTCL, my line can support up to 70Mbps package. Still, 15 days have been passed, and, they haven’t been able to correct my downloading speed. I’m totally angry and frustrated, now. Any advice on how I can reign in the arrogant employees of PTCL?

Your line stats are fantastic. your port is not refreshed , call the helpline on 1218 and tell them to refresh your port. it would be fine then.
They’ve refreshed my port several times, but, the problem with the downloading speed is still there. The guy from their technical department who visited my house checked the line stats and called someone at the backend to refresh the port, but, even at that time there was no change in the downloading speed. He told me that he had emailed my statistics to his superiors and they will rectify my issue in the next 4 hours. But nothing happened, and, he visited 5 days go.

They’ve been giving me the same reply over and over again that my issue will be resolved on priority basis. Moreover, even on my insistence, they aren’t providing me any estimated day or date of the resolution of my complaint. This is quite strange considering the fact that the PTCL’s twitter account had a good repute of addressing the people’s grievances.

The issue with 20 mbps vdsl started 29th January late night.
Even tried using 50 Mbps n 100 Mbps for few minutes. Uploads are working flawless but the download speeds are restricted at half or even less than the line profile.
Emailed and contacted many times but they are unable to rectify the issue. Finally Looked over here and most of guys in recent posts complaining about the download speeds issue for the last 10 days.
Its definitely Network issue, Lines are working flawless with no distortion and SNR around 28 at 20 Mbps & 14 SNR @ 50 Mbps profiles.
After all the long waiting procedures at PTCL peoples colony fsd exchange, I had to say they are all bunch of clowns hired to do the technical work.
When its port issue, Lineman is deployed, when its port or system issue, modem ko reset karo. Lol Pathetic.

At this time speeds are fine, in the evening and morning its dropped to 5Mbps to 10 or max 13 Mbps for 20mbps package. It was all perfect before 29th january.

complaining won't resolved the issue it is something else . I'm facing same issue I came to know they're having network issue which is causing the low download speed.

We have to wait till there stupid network issue get fixed .

Yep , same issue after complaining almost 7 days i received a call from my exchange said"Ap k area main 4mb say zada internet nai chalta kindly 4mb pay downgrade karwa lay ".

    I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

    Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.
