so i have just heard that the PS3 is fully hacked now......like xbox 360.
unfortunetly,i've already bought the 360(Arcade)...so there are a few things i wanna ask:
1- Is this a complete hack?like will i face any probs if i mod my ps3?like getting banned on PSN(no online play)?
2- Will all games released uptill now work flawlessly?
3- Would i have to download games and store them in the built-in HDD?or will i have to buy an external HDD?
4- What would be,approximetly,the minimum amount of money that i will have to spend to buy a moded ps3,an extra controller,and just set it up and play?
5- Should i,in your opinion,sell the 360 and get a ps3?cause of the mod?(my 360 is a jasper,btw)

According to my knowledge, it's not a 'complete' hack. And, yes, you might face problems after 'modding' your PS3. There's a new firmware, 3.42, that has some security upgrades regarding this issue.

We do not know. New games tend to work only if you have the latest firmware.

3- Would i have to download games and store them in the built-in HDD?or will i have to buy an external HDD?

The games are stored in your PS3's HDD. Whether they will work if you save them externally I do not know.

4- What would be,approximetly,the minimum amount of money that i will have to spend to buy a moded ps3,an extra controller,and just set it up and play?

You can't buy a modded PS3. You'll have to buy the USB Modchip for the hack to work. You can, however, buy a used PS3 from PG at around 20-25k give or take a few thousands.

^ Play-Asia ships to Pakistan.But I don't think they would have the headsets. Plus, the headsets you mentioned might be hard to find. Your best bet is to get them from abroad. Though if you really want gaming headphones, then I suggest you look into BOSE, Senheisser etc. These brands are fantastic and are easily available here. Rest is up to you.

you can only hack the PS3 with a certain firmware version, otherwise the hack is just as useless as our President

plus it won't run copied blu-ray discs as the hack is a soft hack, so in order to run the games, you'll have to download them and transfer them to your PS3 HDD...

Ok guys i have gotten a couple of phone calls from my psn friends about a alleged Flaw in the new firmware that disables the Psn Feature on the PS3 that Rumor is WRONG/FALSE there is nothing wrong with the new firmware or PSN. Its is just been taken offline for Maintenance and will be back online till 5am Pakistan time.

i am really very much concerned about my ps3 freezing problem. i bought ps3 slim 250 gb from saddar karachi. it was working fine. i bought red dead redemption and when i played it, it said you need to update you software to play this game i accepted and finally after updation game got started.. since then 3 times my ps3 hanged..first time when i was playing pop, 2nd time with uncharted and 3rd time wen i was playing heavy rain. nothing was working. controller got hanged i had to press ps3 power button to get ps3 restarted.. kindly help...

Is the headset wireless/bluetooth?
If yes then you can pair it in the accessory settings or bluetooth settings (forgot which one was it) and then change the audio out from default to your headset in the audio settings...

And another way to experience surround sound is to use the digital out on the PS3...

as in how do the loads and loads of wires connect to that one output? Will this Digital Out option also support Creative / Logitech/ Altec Lansing surround speakers built for the PC?

i have a max. budget of 10k(i have to first start collecting money for gt5 then for the wheel sooo right now i am zerooo...but projected total i can spend on the wheel is this).....
suggestions???

check the specs and you'll see source inputs have a digital in for game consoles...
search and check specs for a mid-range speakers and you're bound to find one with digital in...

bro I'm sorry to say but ur budget is too low for a G27 or heck for a G25...G25 = 18k....
dunno about amaga stocking the wheels but you can contact nabby and he'll guide you on the wheel
