No I think only his Q3 results should have been discarded and he should have started 10th on the grid instead of last since he successfully completed the the first 2 sessions.

There have been A LOT of things this season that have been idiotic and it continues in this race as well...

Yea this season has been unpredictable man. You know the championship might just be won by the one who is the most consistent rather than the one with most race wins.

Yup that may very well be the case. The most unpredictable factor has been the tyres this season, they are really playing a damn big role in F1 atm where as they shouldn't. Sure there is a lot of overtaking now but that's not real racing, like Michael shoe-maker said, drivers have to drive well below their limits so they can make their tyres last.

What a start by Alonso....He Overtook Maldonado going into the first corner of the race

Yesterday Alonso tried to overtake Maldonado and was attacking continuously and he couldve done it with ease but on the other hand he started to fall back because he had to preserve his tires...This is just bull shit...I love attacking F1 with loads of overtakes...These tires make most drivers drive like pussies

Exactly and I don't know why the hell Pirelli dont realize that. You know they're still defending these tyres with lame comments like "rosberg didn't complain when he won" e.t.c OFC YOU IDIOTS WHY WOULD HE COMPLAIN! he was in clean air through out the race.

These tyres burn out when you are chasing a car...BC the air coming out of the front car eats em up....I believe that if Alonso had better tyres yesterday he would've won easily

I don't really care one bit for Formula 1 as a sport, but I just saw Senna directed by Asif Kapadia.

This film is a must see. It was such a beautiful, poignant, heartbreaking story of such a brilliant man.

Fernando Alonso’s Ferrari renaissance continued in Monaco on Thursday morning in the first practice session which was terminated nine minutes prematurely and not resumed after Heikki Kovalainen’s Caterham laid a trail of oil in the tunnel following an engine failure.

The rain came to Monaco sooner than expected on Friday afternoon, which rather spoiled second practice as the times became academic thereafter.
