Hi there guys. I too am having problems with CS 1.6. I have been playing on LDN server for sometime now but since they have installed the SXE-Injected I can't play any more. I have installed sxe-injected 8.9. But when I start it it gives an error which is:-

Surely an antivirus/Spyware scanner error.

You might have Prevx Realtime Scanner installed. Uninstall it at once and install some other antivirus/spyware scanner. This is what is causing the error.

Hey I do have Prevx, but its trial only, also am currently using Avast anti-virus. I did disabled the both of them until system reboot and then tried still its giving the same problem. Should I unistall it too? And thanks for the reply. I thought no ones gonna reply quickly.

Only Prevx.
We'll see about the antivirus if it shows up in the logfile.

Hey I have uninstalled prevx and also disabled the anti-virus. Also wanted to tell you the counter strike I have has been downloaded from internet (torrent). I installed it again. Started the sxe-injected and started the game. At the same time connected to LDN from which I got kicked instantly. Again the error was:-

Delete this file.

Thats really weird I searched everywhere and couldn't find the file. Even I did searched but haven't found it. :crying: There are no files to display. Also in manual search didn't find anything. Now what should I do? Any more suggestions?

Looks like reinstalling Windows would be the final solution.

Ahhh.. The worst thing. I was just thinking the same. Do you think there is a problem with the game or just the windows?

There is no problem with either the game and the Windows. Its that file thats causing the problem.
If there is somehow you can delete that file and then report the status, it would be awesome.

I did search all files in system32 etc etc...And also with xp search but there were no results. I think I should install windows now. I also have another cd of counter strike other than the downloaded one. But its the modified type, like it has bots and I can play it offline with bots and some features of CS: condition zero. Even with that game the same problem is occuring. Which Windows should i install? How about Windows 7? Is sxe ok with that? But I will have to find drivers because Dell doesn't have drivers for windows 7 or xp SP3 will be fine?

XP would be good because some people, myself included are experiencing problem with sXe for the past 5 months on Windows 7.

And keep your current version of CS.

I just installed the new Xp server pack 3 and installed the game and sxe-injected. Now the game won't even start!!! The error its showing is: The instruction at "0x5ed2aed8" refrenced memory at "0x00000564". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program

Why is this happening!!! I didn't even installed the anti-virus or any protection.

Sorry my bad Shary. i forgot to restart the computer after installing the drivers . Now this time I started sxe-injected and started CS. No error is coming now. So I connected to LDN and the same thing happened. I was kicked out because of sxe. Now what should I do? Also as soon as I connected to internet, the logo "Windows is not genuine appeared" Although all updates are off. Sxe is minimized and working but still am being kicked out!!! Should I install the file you gave me link of now?
