Received bill for my mobilink postpaid it states lte consumer means my lte is activated, just need to get replacement sim? Any comments on that.
And no line rent for sms is charged this month my rs:25 sigh!

Leave that for now. Just get a new LTE sim from the mobilink office and activate 4G. They dont charge the sms line rent on J300 and above plans.

1. Text 3111, tell them to activate 4g on your number because you live in the coverage area, and have a 4G supported SIM.
2. Most likely you won't have functioning 4g - go to their service center and get your SIM replaced.

Most definitely.
If you're not a gamer and pings don't matter, you'll really appreciate the higher speeds and reliability of a decent connection.

Mobilink 3g is being capped at 8 mbps.
Check speed meter on left it's stable 1MBps.

Zong is fine for your requirements. 1800 for 1 Mbps is criminal, get rid of your PTCL connection.

For low downloading requirements, portable internet is always a better solution than a fixed line service.

This is postpaid Mobilink. Highest I could get was 1.5 MB/s on torrents.

Just got my sim replaced with lte from business centre. The lady was surprised and quoted who told you about lte we have not commercially launched yet only there is soft launch as you are the first customer to ask for lte sim. Please dont get annoyed if you dont signlas everywhere as it is just a soft launch.

Surprisingly mobilink 3g giving way better speed than 4g as of now.

Which server do you use for speedtests on Mobilink?

I haven't been able to get more than 10 Mbps on postpaid Mobilink 3G. It seems that I am still capped at 8 Mbps sometimes, the speed really sucks to be honest in most places. Even with full bars, it's quite disappointing most of the time.

Mobilink 4g depends on how good Warid 4g signals are in your area. If you are not getting good 4g speeds on Warid you are not likely to have as much luck on Mobilink 4g.
