Stop Abuses will lead to baning? Thats the best you can say now? After openly telling me that my post was hilarious on so many levels? I expected a reply full of comebacks not a generic one such as this, the retake is stupid, like I said students have to appear in Isl and Pak studies on the same day as clash papers.

Money back from CIE? Yeah right, they openly told me via e-mail no money back you have to pay again if you want to appear in November.

The best I can say? Excuse me, but I'm not having a fight here! I'm simply saying, simply go along with what they're asking you to do. Complaining wont help. I was once an Olevel student too. Been there, done that. A lot. Absolutely no point in doing that.

I never said your post was hilarious on so many levels. Format messup due to the BB Editor may have made you think that way. Go read it again. I clearly underlined Saffwans post. I said that statement, which was underlined, was hilarious on many levels. In addition to that, I explained why it was hilarious and ironic. Perhaps the stress and pre-exam depression in such scenario's played with your sentiments to be extra sensitive about it. Can understand that though. Nothing unusual during exams!

Again, Abuses will lead to baning wont help. Either you guys can stop crying and prepare and get the A*/A you guys deserve, or you guys can cry, protest, and not give the exams and then regret it later on. I know Pakstudies and Islamiyat are two of the most horrible subjects out there. I know if I had to give them again on a fault of the CIE I'd be uber pissed. BUT, crying about it, calling them names and throwing tantrums on online forums wouldn't help. The only person it'll damage is yourself.

Well if they're doing that, then it's utterly stupid. They've mentioned it on a lot of fronts that you can re-appear for November and get a refund for this. I don't get why they'd do this. They did the same when the Nov (2009?) English Language paper had to be missed due to widespread terrorism in the country etc. They made them re-appear/refund etc in Jun 2010 IIRC. Would have to check up on this, old, so don't really remember exactly.

Though, in my opinion, they shouldn't have done this. THey should've given students the option of sitting again in this session OR sitting again in November 13' if they didn't want to return the money (which I can understsand why... Format issues in 2014 sessions so...)

EDIT: Ref; your post regarding the SoE's being lost.
1) For private candidates, if they lose it, they don't get their result. So, that's pretty shocking to know people'd be that careless
2) For candidates appearing through their schools, the school has copies.

If you have lost yours and appeared through a school, please contact your school ASAP and ask them to provide you with another copy as you've misplaced yours.

Lastly, I'm aware of the fact that this causes inconvenience to the candidates AND their families, but myself, personally, am glad they took this initiative. YOU guys would've suffered because of those clowns who knew the exam. You people don't realize this now, I didn't when I was giving my exams either, but this thing they're doing will make the percentile fall further down, and not artificially high because of those chaps so it's actually better for you guys. Yes, you'll have to delay plans, yes, you'll have to give the exams again, yes you guys threw the books etc, BUT, the beauty of the human brain is, it doesn't forget things this quick. Simple revision of the marking schemes will get everything going back on track.

If you have so much problems with it, simply withdraw this session, get the money back and reappear in November. EDIT: I may be wrong here. Ref: WaleedJaveds post.

Besides, there's no 'delete' switch in the human mind. You can't forget everything you learnt in 2+ months in 2 weeks. You remember the stuff, all you need to do is revise and it'll be back to you.

No delete switch, right. But why do we have to revise again? It's such a time-waste and such a nuisance.

For me, British Council's credibility is lost. I will be better off doing FSC where at least protesting works.

And IMO, protesting on roads etc won't work because this decision is final. What we can do is study and bombard them with emails so this does not happen again.

Partially I am to blame I should have been happy with my previous grade instead of appearing again.

It is stupid, they told me no money back you have to pay for the november session if you don't you wont get graded and they will actually write U on the result sheet, I have my SOE but almost all my friends lost it and some of them can't even find the copies in the school how in the blue were they supposed to know that such a thing would happen? I never imagined it.

Pak studies and Isl are the two most horrible subjects in O level, the long answers plus the millions of dates I forget about it all and what's worse is the fact they might do something stupid like mixing in section 3 with the first 3 questions which frankly I never prepared.

Like I said drop the GT go with pre determined grades just for now, and avoid the protest and bad duain of students, seriously my friend said that he might smack a invigilator during the exam lol.

Throwing tantrums makes me feel a bit better, who knows someone from Cie might actually read it adding the guilt to his gut *sigh* looks like I'll have to hold GOW Ascension untill the 14, one of my friends has it the worst he has to appear in Isl and Pk at the same times no breaks no mercy.

Thanks for the good luck oh and the final word will be given on 5 i.e tomorrow we can hope that they may drop it just a little bit of light other than that, I'm heading off to Ilmi buying the damn history book again.

BTW, it has really become easy now. Just a few weeks have passed since our exams so we can just refresh our memories and atleast we know whats NOT coming in these exams. For history, NO NEED to study regional languages, Religious reformers, reasons for success of British against Indians, Sir Syed Ahmed's efforts, Partition of Bengal, Round Table Conferences, refugee problem, Liaquat Ali Khan/Ghulam Mohammad/Iskandar Mirza, Musharraf and Relations with Britain and Commonwealth. Atleast thats NOT coming in the History exam.

You're obviously very angry right now given your scenario, and possibly pissed too. Things like 'Not gonna waste time on you' 'nothing further to say' etc wont help you right now. This had nothing to do with the subject at hand, I ain't pissed at you never was remember my last post? In which I actually thanked you for wishing me luck? We'll I didn't expect a reply of how I pick on people, during my rant above tell me a time line in which I called you out or something if you are in someway which I don't know offended then sorry mate.

I already finished History in the last few hours along with section 3 because can't be too carefree about CIE.
