There is a slight chance of increasing the preparation time or even dropping it all together my cousin just received an email from CIE.

This had nothing to do with the subject at hand, I ain't pissed at you never was remember my last post? In which I actually thanked you for wishing me luck? We'll I didn't expect a reply of how I pick on people, during my rant above tell me a time line in which I called you out or something if you are in someway which I don't know offended then sorry mate.

I already finished History in the last few hours along with section 3 because can't be too carefree about CIE.
Jesus dude!

GENERAL HUMAN BEHAVIOUR. You up there is generalized dude!

Anyhow. Lets stay on topic here.

P.S: Never said you said anything to me etc. Don't have a beef with you, and I'm pretty sure this is mutual. I'd really like if that stays this way and we move on. No point arguing on such a trivial matter.

Even then, I'd like to keep my portfolio free from C's. Oh well.

I think I'm the only O'level student who's genuinely excited and chill about giving the papers again. The day the news was announced,I laughed my head off for 5-6 hours straight (not sure if that's normal :/) then I read rants about the CIE board and laughed some more.

I agreed to whatever Abby said above, protesting and shit won't help.Only thing we can do is study for the papers again and I'm sure the CIE isn't doing this to troll the students or to burden us or anything. What they're doing is only going to benefit us.Think about it,what are they getting from investigating into this matter?
They're doing this for us,so that a bunch of cheaters don't get preference over hard working students. They're doing this so it doesn't happen again.

Back on topic : What do you guys suggest I do now?
I mean,where do I start?
Should I study section 3 history or no?
Got like,what?9-10 days to study.

What's the effective way to utilize that time?
Study marking schemes only?

EDIT: OFF TOPIC: What's authenticity of claims that papers were leaked in Malaysia? Just rumours or true?

Your papers are 9-10 days away. Set 4-5 days for each subject would be my advice. It shouldn't be hard now that you're re-revising. (Or re-re-revising if you gave your mocks.)

If I were you, I would read the marking schemes and my notes whilst chilling in general.
Again, if I were you I'd leave Section 3. I didn't study it for even ten minutes so wouldn't study it in the last ten days. But, that's just me!

Bradurs, listen.

The CIE did not give you 6 days to PREPARE, merely for THEMSELVES to prepare.

You all have had 2 years to study, If you didn't that's your problem. If you studied for the exams prior to these then it's all good, no one can possibly forget a whole syllabus in 6 days.

If you're crying like this in Olevels then God help you for A levels, My friend has 3 exams in a single day, I had 2 exams on a single day with another the next day, OUR exams are stretched out to a course of over 1 month, I suggest you quit your yappin' and grow up, because whining wont help you prepare for what's next. :)

On a second note, this is just my hypothesis, but IF CIE don't have backup papers, then isn't it possible to assume that the papers that are to be given will be heavily influenced by pastpapers?

Its good that the students who are giving CIE papers for the first time will have a chance to retake these papers. I mean you guys got approx 8 extra days to prepare. And you've given the paper under actual time restraints and have experienced the pressure too (for the first time). I bet that all of you had some issues after the paper was finished (example: I wish I had studied *this* section a bit more to confirm an A* grade etc). So now you have the opportunity to even further enhance your expected grade.

But the negative side of things is that some of the students who have finished their papers might have gone out to other cities on vacation. Or they might have made plans with friends/family. So these plans would have had to be scrapped... I'd be pissed. But look at the bigger picture, you have experienced the paper and the pressure that comes with it first hand and can improve your expected grade even more.

I bet that most of the new papers would be from past papers. CIE papers are not made in 10 days. They are made in months. So study even harder and get better grades.

So guys I'm thinking about sitting in the November session?

How do I do this?
Like,do I call the British Council and inform them about this or I just attend the November sessions with this year's June statement of entry?

Help please.

Also,what would PG suggest?
Should I give the papers now or in November?

I would suggest you to give exams now cuz right now, our memories are fresh and we can easily give exams but in November session, we would have to compromise other subjects for these two. You should call BC for details regarding this but I'd suggest you to give it now.

You can't attend the November session with a June SoE. If anything, they'll give you a new SoE if you are to re-apply.
Secondly, I'll suggest you give it this session if you can! You can't really forget much in such a short duration.

I've decided to give the papers in November to secure a good grade like A or better.

My preparations weren't top notch when I first gave the papers before the re takes so I think giving in November would be a better choice.
