hard suspension is actually good for stability on fast speeds. i prefer the harder suspension...
No one's gonna be driving @ 120kph if the car is in daily city use, for instance my daily drive is >50KM so harder suspension is a no no for me. Went to uni on Swift (comparable suspension to city) for 2 days and immediately reverted back to Axio
i have the 2000 civic it has soft suspension, not good for the speed breakers here. the harder suspension i got with my new prius touring edition is good too. all new cars being made internationally etc do have hard suspension and for a reason.
Let me clarify, I was comparing 7th gen and 8th gen (aka reborn) civic with rolla (altis), the 6th gen civic had a pretty neat suspension (wasn't stiff compared to its successors). Your Prius touring has a stiff suspension, not because all cars being made intl. have hard suspension, because its suspension is sports tuned compared to normal Prius and the inclusion of 16" (or 17"?) wheels further adds to it.
unless you are driiving to villages etc and uneven roads than softer suspension might help you there... driving on proper roads don't mean anything between hard or soft suspension IMO
Heheh if only we had proper roads. My daily travel is via Airport Rd (Rawalpindi) and then towards DHA via ISB expressway and let me tell you, you will feel the difference in suspension quite clearly if you're in a City/7th/8th gen civic compared to Rolla (PKDM/JDM both).
It really depends on how one likes his car to be and driving style.
