Everest

One of few good movies made on such topics and its ironic that there are very less such movies.
Story of a group of mountaineers who attempt to summit the Everest and succeed in their effort. What happens next is mother nature vs man.

This movie is based on actual events which happened in 1996 and few months back I saw another similar documentary on K2. With all the technologies and resources available no one can tell the story as good as actual events filmed on a small hand held camera. When compared to that documentary this movie lacks almost everything but still as a standalone movie, it was quite good. Biggest gripe is lack of any landscapes of Nepal, especially that iconic shadow of everest as seen from the summit. I wish the producers had hired some professional climber and film maker like Michael Brown to capture some B rolls for the movie few timelapses would have made this movie a treat to watch.

Must watch for all nature lovers.

Rogue Nation was fun but a bit too over-the-top. I liked Ghost Protocol more. "You have a very warm hand"

MI1 and MI3 are still the best movies in the series though.

Rogue Nation is perhaps the worst of the whole franchise especially direction is so bakwas, ist 35-40 minutes are simply stupid. I still miss old style of MI movies, fast action mystery n thrill.
Very generic movie unlike MI signature style.

No Escape

Well i was surprised to see the cast of this movie, picked it randomly last night. Honestly it was a strange movie, which had too much violence on one side but a very brief and to the point message on the other side but still it could have been as good as Behind Enemy Lines but for some strange reason they cut short the movie to give it a somewhat happy ending.
The story was more like "Confessions of an economic hitman" but the story telling was not set in good environment. Should have selected classic Mexico or Columbia which are real life examples for such sinister schemes or more recent Syria or Ukraine.
Either Pierce Brosnan n Owen Wilson are having some money problems or they had some not so good director or producers. Low post production budget was evident everywhere from selection of locations, cameramen and later editing gurus.
Really like Owen Wilson in this role as he plays "survivor" roles better than many top notch action heroes. Pierce Brosnan had an important role in this whole setting but he ended up like a filler or 4th supporting actor due to lack of character development, thanks to bad screenplay. Despite it's shortcomings I liked it more than Tom Cruise's Rogue Nation because this movie had better coherence and relevance and acting was much much better but a huge "post production" budget makes all the difference between two decent movies or may be I was too pi**ed to see yet another franchise being doomed by "commercial directors"

Good movie, with catchy music. Decent story, at times a bit confusing, but still good, with good spy action and comedy. Really liked Henry Cavil's performance in this movie, he would make a good Bond.

I give this movie a 8/10

The ending looks like its setting up a sequel, but lets see if it gets made, since Henry Cavil will be busy filming the Justice league movies, or a man of steel sequel.

In my opinion, Rogue Nation might be the best mission impossible. It kinda mixed together elements from the first one and the fourth one, both of which I love, and ended up being just as good if not better.

Pixels....................(7.5/10) watched in HD, well what do u expect from a kids movie, it was an entertaining film featuring some of the best oldie game characters like Qbert, Donkey Kong, Pac Man etc, overall a fun time pass movie!

Inside Out................(8/10) watched in HD, well first thing first, this movie had stunning visuals, awesome voice acting by Amy Poehler, and a very nice plot as well, Sadness was an annoying character, another good movie to watch!

FOCUS (2015)

"This is a game of focus!"

Well my focus was completely on Margot Robbie. Her face is like a diamond, crafted to an absolute perfection. She is like a hot diva, crazy pretty, and so charming. I have to say, when Will Smith is on his game, you can't just sit back with a 'meh' attitude. This guy can spark a discreet enthusiasm with roles such as this one. Moments during those Rugby game had me mistaken it for a 'focus turned gambling' movie. But there was a Nice 'Probabilistic Blind Mouse' surprise.

Between all the deceptions, double crosses and cons, there was one thing which clearly stood out. The chemistry between Smith and Robbie. Their love was heart touching. And their bickering, amusing. Absolutely enjoyed the 'win win situations'. Laughed briefly at 'that high pitched wtf by Smith', and might've shed a silent tear on the brutal revelations during Gauchais Reaction, and after 'Toledo Panic Button'. Those were some terrifying moments. Also, I for one couldn't stop myself from clapping, during 'the father's reveal'. The thought didn't even cross my mind.

The best part for me, is that i actually liked its plot, execution, and charismatic performances. Loved its humor, and chemistry between actors. It even has an applause worthy ending too. I enjoyed it SO much. 7/10. Will Smith should do more of such roles, and should definitely stay away from f*ckups such as After Earth (2013).

The man from U.N.C.L.E
I had high expectations from this one as I'm a huge guy Ritchie fan , I thought there will be some good humor with seriousness , but the both humor side and serious side of this movie falls flat the plot is also simple , in fact this movie missed the guy Ritchie touch which he has in his every movie those fast moving action movements. ,the movie started off so well it had what every guy Ritchie movie has a good build up and usually has a slow mid but his every movie has a high octane end , which this movie didn't had . Minus guy Ritchie being director , even if it was directed by some one else to its just an avg flick .

Fantastic Four (2015)

Man, what is this piece of shit calling itself Fantastic.

Well, that's not right. It is overly negative and asshol-ish.

This was a painfully dull and boring movie. I was surprised how such a talented cast could go so wrong. The acting was really sub par and the story just seemed to plod along without garnering any interest of the audience (in this case, me) whatsoever. It was so ordinary that you could write the summary on a piece of paper and it would be as interesting.

P.S. The scene where they visit the alternate dimension and get their powers seem like a cheesy 50s sci fi flick. It is that poorly shot and looks so outdated.

I am not a huge comics guy, so I can't say that I was particularly looking forward to this or am disappointed in it. It was just a plain old bad movie.

P. P.S. Early on there is a scene between Reed and Sue where she explains how music is just a pattern created by the artist to make the listener anticipate a certain point, and withholding that creates the enjoyment in music. I can't believe this movie made music unsexy! Fuck this shit! Try n find a pattern in Led Fuckin' Zeppelin.

Beasts of No Nation (2015)

Blood Diamond meets Apocalypse Now in this harrowing tale of war in Africa told through the eyes of a child soldier who loses his innocence.

This was brilliant. Cary Abuses will lead to banunaga is that rare director that has a great vision and the means to achieve that. He creates this huge canvas of human misery inflicted by humans themselves, and shoots it (himself!!) with a poetic lens.

There is a tracking shot that I particularly love where Agu (the lead kid) and his battalion is going through a building in a town. Beauty of a shot, culminating in a scene through the window in the building into harrowing scenes of war in the center of the town.

Oh and Stringer Bell gives a fucking classic performance.

Sun, why are you shining at this world?
I am wanting to catch you in my hands, to squeeze you until you can not shine no more.
That way, everything is always dark and nobody's ever having to see all the terrible things that are happening here.

The Hallow - 8/10

well I liked this one , another horror won my heart , not so perfect but still good to enjoy it as a horror , the only trapped in truck thing was so unbelievable but the story was really nice , less characters interference , less shits , less suspense , yeah it was a straight movie , no stupidity of revealing secrets one by one , all was well arranged , but more of thriller for me not creepy

Ant-Man (2015)

Man, such a fun movie. I had a blast. I love Paul Rudd, and the Scott Lang character was perfectly suited to his strengths. It is always a treat to see Michael Douglas and I was wowed by the digital recreation of his younger self. It looked seamless, not at all like Jeff Bridges in Tron: Legacy.

Evangeline Lilly, who I have loved since Lost, gives a tremendous performance and I am excited that she will headline Part 2. It was a really great character and she played it well.

Michael Pena was terrific as the comic relief.

I seem to be getting fonder and fonder of Bobby Cannavale which each passing role. That guy is awesome.

It reminded me of the first Iron Man. Had a great time watching this.

first of all the hate that is going on for this movie is justifiable, avg plot with nothing to write about and it has
one of the worst villain ever in bond movies starring Daniel Craig imo... oh man he was so lame..action wise it has some moments
bt not any breath taking sequences which you mostly associated with bond movies. Mr Q and Dr. Swan was good and it has some very
funny moments that i enjoyed more thn action. Yes folks this is Spectre for u. 7/10.

saw "SPECTRE" at cinestar IMAX

your'e a kite dancing in a hurricane Mr Bond !

well finally saw it, the average scores to this being given and not much talk about it going on aswell made my expectations a bit low and i kept them low for a reason since skyfall had set a standard for this and as per my thought's it quite didn't deliver as good per say but it definately had it's moments

so there was it all that bond movie's have, the first good spy scene, the car chase and the torture of mr bond hehe all was in there which bond movie's usually have but there was something missing, the delivery. it just didn't had that oomph to it :p like passion someone is doing for although MR Q and M were a good part of this in the movie aswell as dr swan ( lovely swan ) :)

davebatista had no script for this movie LOL that was funny....

christoph waltz hmm, well he's a really good actor but i think he wasn't appropriate for this role here maybe all past villains etc coming back to here, could had been more spectacle but wasn't so.

action was quite good and i think the most in a bond movie i think plus got the cool poster aswell from the imax show :D

anyways without further spoiling or anything

Rating: 7/10

Knock Knock: Fu***d up movie. But there was a message though ;) 3/10.

The Last Girls: Another Fu***d up movie. I wasted my time 3/10.

Tomorrowland: It was entertaining. George Clooney’s character was nice. The other world and the gadgets which they showed were good 6/10.

Spectre: Watched it at Taj Cinestar. After so much hype what we got?? Lame story and some average action scenes except the opening action scene. Acting wise it was OK. IMO there was only one BOND moment in whole movie. I watched all Daniel Craig’s bond movies in cinema expecting this time it would be better than Casino Royale, Skyfall came close but sadly they all failed to impress me. Including Spectre 5/10.
