22 JUMP STREET

"Fuck You Brain!"

Tatum and Jonah's combo obviously works extremely well in 21 Jump Streeet. They had me rolling on the floor almost every time, and i am happy that they decided to make a sequel. Except, the bizarre over the top humor, cheesy one liners' effect isn't as strong. But the overall movie is just as good as the first one. Its the same thing. “Infiltrate the dealer, find the supplier”. And i love the way they didn't forget to Hints towards 21 Jump Street, and the expected sequels.

Spoiler: show
The opening scene with Jonah in a Spanish character was hilarious. Dat Accent  The reverse role in college was also one of a kind with Tatum getting all the attention. The moment of "OMG he is fucking the captain’s daughter". Haha. Captain's straight face look makes you lose it. More role of Ice Cube is good. Loved Mercedes (Jillian Bell). Funny comedian. "The loudest climaxer, sounds like a 30year old sprinkler going off for the first time". Every time you'd see her in front of Hill, you are in for some big laughs. Don't forget the 'business plan' and later 'girl fight'. And the funniest moment lies in a post-credit scene. "I am late" Also, its interesting that Dave Franco's shortest appearance is the most powerful.

I didn't quite like the Captain's daughter (Amber Stevens). She was plain boring. I think Brie Larson did a far better job at looking cute, attractive and acting funny, and was far more cheerful in her role. So i missed her here. Also, the only thing which doesn't seem to fit, is that 22 Jump Street doesn't have the 'innocence' of 21 Jump Street. Tatum and Hill have 'mellowed down' brotherly connection because of College Football, and because of weired relationship thingies. Plus, the Spring Breakers stuff ... talk about over doing it.

Still, its a joy ride and the laughs are big. Electric chemistry between Tatum and Jonah pays off well. All ideas about a range of Jump Street movies in credits was a clever touch. Tatum & Jonah combo would be just as hilarious every single time. Seeing them bicker about, and having real arguments which escalate quickly, can never get old. Because Fuck You Brain, thats why. 7/10 ... But first one was a master piece, so ....

saw "the equalizer" at DHA CINEMA TODAY

so the funniest thing happened lol, show almost got cancelled coz there were less than 15 ppl haha, i almost walked out when i saw a group of teenagers come by and they finally decided to play the show.

so the movie's got a bit of a slow pace, drama and action.. when the action hit's man denzel is like the sultan rahi of hollywood. killing off dozens of baddies without even a scratch damn man... he's some tough sob :p

it also has chloe grace-moretz and mellisa leo for a short role...

denzel's just a good samaritan kind of a guy taking thing's into his own hand where the world is all wrong etc...

movies more than 2 hours long a lot of story and dialogues etc some of them kept me entertained but by the end i was kinda bored perhaps it was my butt hurting for sitting too long hhaha or the enthusiasm wore off but action scenes were still bada**...

Rating: 6.5/10

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 (2014)

Just like almost everyone else, i am also going to start by praising the first How to Train Your Dragon (2010). The relationship between Hiccup and Toothless was developed so beautifully, that it had the power to mingle with your emotions deeply, with a great sense of excitement filling every inch of your body. I still remember the very first flight of Toothless & Hiccup with tailor made rear wing, and the mesmerizing feeling I experienced with it. And just to remind me of that, i downloaded and watched the first part all over again, before moving to the sequel. And Deep down, i am extremely happy that they made a Sequel because no matter how absurd, i'd still want to see more of Toothless, making cute faces, doing innocent and crazily awesome stuff.

There are so many things i actually love about How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014). Some characters are funnier now, like Ruffnut (Kristen WiIg) drooling over sweaty muscles, or Fishlegs & Snotlout who grew facial hair for her. lol. Toothless and Hiccup are now wiser, and more mature. There are even more dragons. Child dragons messing with Toothless, and Toothless bonding with Valka's Cloud Jumper, which btw would be the loveliest of the sights. Valka's intro was powerful.

Not just the characters, there are so many memorable scenes, some of them are downright adorable. Like,
Spoiler: show
- See 'Cloud Jumper giving Toothless the remains of his fish', 'dropping snow on him', or 'showing him questionable eyes while Hiccup jumps to fly, to show his mother' ... funny stuff.

- The priceless moment where Valka enables a Toothless secret, those rear wing thingies ... notice the happiness of Toothless. Thats brilliant animation at best.

BUT, IMO, there are some problems. The thing is, if you watch the first movie again, you'll observe its sheer simplicity, with a straight forward story and extremely satisfying character development (plus, the close relationship between Toothless and Hiccup was another deciding factor which gave the movie a tremendous boost). It was a mixture of mild emotions, discreetly gorgeous animations ... yet creators didn't go batshit crazy with insane amount of 'Rio-2-esque' creatures ... i.e. over doing it. Basically, This sequel is a bit too heavy on the emotional side. Like Stoick ...
Spoiler: show
breaking the barrier of love for Valka (Understandable given the 'long lost nature' but ... ). Don't get me wrong, it was ... touchy. Had me on the verge of tears. But it wasn't needed. And they had to kill Stoick to gain the sympathy for Hiccup.

That "Man who kills without reason, can’t be reasoned with" entered too late. But i like the fact that his 'war' had some authenticity, with a real sense of threat behind it. Plus, i kinda like his screaming to his Challanger. -.- He is also a key character for Toothless ...
Spoiler: show
to rise as the new 'alpha' for all the dragons. Oh and Breathing atomic fire? That’s some Godzilla shit right there.

I also dislike the fact that the movie spends more time dealing with Hiccup's family issues. That, and the choice of name, "How to Train your Dragon 2" makes me tick. Learn a thing or two from Nolan's naming scheme ... morons!

It’s all a spectacle, which not only tingles with your emotions, but also dazzles you with its jaw dropping animation. As much i want to dislike it for its rather dark nature, the fun factor is still the same. Toothless is still cute, and badass this time ... in all final war scenes. I loved watching this Night Fury, and would not mind for another sequel. 8/10. Full Fledge Entertainment, nonetheless. I had a great time watching it. Its obviously a step down from the first one, but I just hope that creators take it down a notch, and don't try to overdo it, like it happened with Rio 2. Wait for the next movie has begun.

Big Rock Candy Mountain.
Gone Girl: I have read the book and was eagerly anticipating the movie directed by none other than David Fincher. The casting was phenomenal. I mean the actors were perfect for the characters they were portraying from the book. The cast nailed the comedy and suspense of the book, fantastic job. But all of that is nothing compared to direction and cinematography. Holy shit. One scene was really epic with the perfect music and awesome jump cuts. I do think the movie failed to go into more detail at the end, especially for the people who have not read the book yet. But overall great movie that was worth every penny. 8/10

Hercules....................(7/10) watched in HD, much better than the other Hercules movie released this year, Irina Shayk had a screen presence of hardly 2 or 3 mins, fight sequence were great but lacked overall. I wanted to see the 12 labors of Hercules but oh well!

Step Up 5: All In.................(6.5/10) watched in HD, Step Up movies are never about good acting or story, they are all about dance, but this was wasn't even about dancing, just a total of 3 dance battles, seriously? Only the last battle was good, disappointed overall.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.
