MULTI The most brutal game u have ever played

@Benighted I don't think this is what the thread title suggests. It just asks about brutality; it could be the idea of it, sounds, images, aftermath etc. Brutality is not limited to visual images of the scenes' occurring only.

In that case Higurashi When They Cry should be considered as a very very brutal game.

Brutal as in what sense? The amount of blood in it? Or the way how the main character 'brutally fondles' with the other subjects? If so, then i'd I have to say Darkness 2 and Prototype.

GOW series esp. 3 hands down. GOW series define brutality.

Second one for me is .. LA Noire. For all the dead victims you have to investigate about.. and how they were killed all the bruises on the bodies etc.
