If anyone having issue with battery not charging quickly or too much slowly with cloud / mifi /wifi devices in which you also get a chargeable battery along with. Simply Disable the WLAN auto off option by going to Setting >> WLAN >> WLAN advance setting >> disable WLAN auto off .. that will also solve the issue of when you get disconnected with Wi-Fi occasionally .see the attached pic here for zong 4g mobile Wi-Fi.. THIS solution was suggested by Huawei warranty claim center at central plaza Lahore ..

So today I took a zong 3G device to my new house in Valencia town lahore to check for the signals. On its router page it showed full signals at the place where I am planning to put the device but on speed test it was showing 6.5 mbps of download speed. But coming back to my current house it was showing a download speed of 14 mbps. Any suggestions at to why there is discrepancy in speed while the signal strength for 3G was same?
3,6mb and now touching 3.9 and 4.0 mb with connectify dispatch 2 connections give 5mb and add the ptcl device that makes it 7.2mb on torrents

Speed depends on various factors. Maybe your new home area is crowded place (more zong 3g users)
Tower distance. Peak time of that tower at that time. You can't compare / complain about speed.

not complaining about speed. but Why not compare it? if the tower is further away the connection speed should depend on the signals right?
Regardless of that I am buying the zong 4G tomorrow or the day after as 7mbps is a good speed too for now and way better than my current PTCL. I could only get hold of 3G device and wanted to check that even if I dont get 4G signals I must at least get 3G signals which were all bars were coming on the router page.
Just one more question one of the local retailers( not the zong franchise) is selling the zong mifi device for 2000. I wanted to ask there are no different models for the device right? and its safe to get it from him as he is selling it rs 500 less than the price mentioned on the website.
That's why i opted to buy 4g device.
One retailer offered me device for 2200 + 1500. So retailers basically sacrifice some part of their commission to get sale.
If he is giving you stand alone device without package then its not possible i think. Also check if he is giving 3g device or 4g?
Please also note that zong use term "4g mobile wifi" for their 4g device.

He is giving rs 2000 ki device 4g wifi (not wingle ) plus package of rs. 1500 = 24gb *2 = 48gb as per promotion or package of rs 2000 50GB. So from your post I am guessing it will be the same device thats available at the franchise and i should get the offer Actually, here are the factors:
- distance from the tower
- number of users on that specific tower you're connected to
- time of the day,
- signal strength (in dbm, and not in bars) and the signal quality (low or minimal interference is the best, as the greater the interference, the slower the ping and speeds).
Take note of the last point - open air would give you the least interference, metal bars and grills would interfere a lot. Concrete interferes as well, and other reflective things nearby as well. Kinda difficult to list down when everything is a potential source of interference (including electrical signals).
This applies to all wireless tech - be it 2G, 3G, 4G, CDMA, walkie talkies or even cordless phones. So if you're not getting good speeds, the first thing I'd do is change the placement and position of the device, and try again. If that still doesn't work (moving a few centimetres can help a LOT!), then it means either the tower is choked, or something else.
This is the nature of wireless.
The first two average between 180-200ms and the last IP from 250-280ms on Zong 4G

I don't think its practical, too many packages, too frequent changes. Maintaining a list of packages would have just taken too much time.
