The longest period you kept your PC running?

I have a laptop, the max time i have kept my laptop on is 1 week.
My laptop is always on but i shut it down after every 2 days, for a night. To give it some rest.

i hav a p3 which i use for downloading. i keep it on all the time becoz if i shut it down it wouldnt turn on. i have been downloading on it for like 3 years. pushing to its limits. old is gold i must say.

how do you keep it turned on all the time with frequent loadshedding even with generator it would turn off for a few minutes ?

2 weeks i accidentally forgot it on (lcd was off) and went to murree, pc was on ups so it was quite long

guys i want to know program which keeps track of your longest time and current time. (i know you can do this through taskmanager)..need more better program.

mine is about 2 day probably.....

I rarely turn it off since loadshedding has stopped. I turn off the LCD when going to uni or sleep.

I m using AIDA64 Extreme Edition it keep tracks of time record and other things try it out.

Now a days every day my computer starts at 10:00 am in morning and i turn it off at 2:00Am night...

Maximum is 24 hours...

One of my system (which is actually a 2U Dell PowerEdge server with dual xeon processors) remains online which I use it to access my data and stuff from the remote locations. Since there's no load-shedding here in UK I can say it's running fine since last 5 months with couple of 30mins or so down-times though.

I have been using IBM Workstation 6217 for downloading and I used to keep it running continuously 3~4 days at many occasions during past few years. Mostly I start my project in the evening of Friday and Finish it in the morning of Monday.

Not to brag or anything, but there is never any load shedding where I live. NEVER.

So, I kept my PC on for 2 months straight during my summer vacations as it was constantly downloading anime and movies and OSTs. Downloaded about 100GB with 50-100kbps back in those days

It should be how long you've kept your PC running ON at all times, no restarts or shut downs in between!
