Being one of the youngest cousin in my family, u'd expect a lot of people to give u eidi... well fuck no! All my cousins have little kids running around so I had to give eidi away!

I got Rs200 (100 from one aunt and another 100 from another aunt). I went extra cheap myself and kept Rs100 per child as my eidi give away.

Criteria to receive Eidi:
A boy who hasn't started earning is eligible.
A girl who hasn't got married is eligible.

I was left with about 15 people to give eidi too

To make it more interesting - my cousin and I had setup a quick IQ quiz for the eligible crowd. They had to answer 1 question and take away Rs500. But if they don't answer correctly, they get nothing!

Cuz we were taking the EXTRA cheap route this year, we chose the hardest questions. The first few kids fell for it and lost the gamble. They inturn went and told other kids how difficult it was, hence ruining our plot!

I could've saved all my money this year if it wasn't for those meddling kids!!!

Oh well, I ended up giving away Rs1000 total as Eidi. Then gave Rs1000 to my elder sis. Making a total LOSS of Rs2000 lol! Add to that my Rs4000 of JJ kurta and a profit of Rs200 from aunts! This Eid set me back Rs5800.

Meh I'm happy - I've had a lot worse years than this!
