My friend just bought his 3T and after a week he installed Accubattery App on my recommendation n his battery was shown as 2980mah (3400mah original) and still shows the same even after 3 weeks of installation n use ... how this can happen. I also installed and it reported same 2900mah n I'm using mine since January/Feb
Either the app has some issues measuring true battery capacities or it is buggy.

It doesn't. The app is fine and is known for giving very accurate estimates to the actual battery capacity.

I know 2 developers with OP3T and I myself have owned 2 OP3's, the batteries used by OnePlus degrade very quickly.

OnePlus 3 was launched with a 3000 mAh battery, and AccuBattery showed 2450 mAh on one of them and 2680 on the other.

People with 3Ts are getting around 2800-2900 estimated capacity as well.
Excessive usage of dash charging is 1 reason, and the second reason is just poor quality batteries.

My S8+ (two months old now), is still showing estimated battery capacity of 3516 mAh on its original 3500 mAh battery. And I'm still getting the same great battery life that I was getting on day 1.

But why this app is showing less than 3000mah battery capacity just after 3 charge cycles ...
I don't have luxury to try different phones but on same models of 3T it is showing similar battery capacity where one is used for 5-6 months and other used for only one week ... OnePlus put wrong batteries in our sets 😊

Clear data on the app and try again, but let the phone go down to 1 or 2% and charge it to a 100, do this a few times and you'll know the exact battery capacity.

If it's still showing below 3000 mAh, it's either a manufacturing defect or the phone has been used.

I have read number of reviews where people say it either over-estimates or under estimates battery capacity ...
But luckily my battery performance has remained same ... if my phone was giving bad battery life then I would have suspected battery deterioration ...

Did you clear app data or just install it?

One charge won't show accurate results, my Xperia Z3 showed 3500 mAh and it's actual capacity is 3100 mAh, however after a few charge cycles, it now shows 2980 mAh.

its installed for like 3 weeks now, numerous recharge cycles ... lets see if it improves or not ... this happened after i updated my 3T to OSS 4.1.6 ...

4 days off the charger, still going good. Casual usage, 1-2 hours SOT every day, lot of podcasts, music, whatsapp calls and normal calls.

Xiaomi Redmi note 4 miui 9.

No calls, only whatsapp, facebook, chrome, olx and tapatalk/PG, brightness on low most of the time and only wifi no 3g. 2 days with 13 hours.

Battery life is awesome after miui 9 global stable flash.

Now that is amazing considering that mi max has a bigger display and a smaller battery. Also Sd650 is not as power efficient as Sd625.
I considered mi max when I was looking for a new phone but the sheer size of it put me off.

Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
