System Error (IP Address Conflict)

Since yesterday I am getting this error.

When this error comes the speed gets a set-back and the net slows down ...
What should I do?

I really have a bad feeling about this.

using wifi or any other pc on the same link? if yes then the 2nd user is using the same ip adress as your, set ur ip to automatic that will do

Go to your local area connection properties and double click on "internet protocol version 4", chk if the "obtain IP automatically" is selected or not. if not then select it and then restart your modem .

No wifi or any other pc is used. Only one sole pc of mine is used ...

simply give a static ip if u are not sharing ur internet. In case of sharing, make sure all systems are getting ip dynamically from Modem (DHCP), no one have assigned statically.

Well when I simply restart the modem .. the error doesnt comes right away .. It comes after 15min or sometime doesnt comes ...

But today it was coming after every 5 min .. :S

nd if this doesnot work then you need to go to the internet properties ...go to start ..clicl on settings ans then go to internet protocal ..it should work then if not call pTCl .
