PC Streets Of Rage Remake

So I stumbled upon it a week ago and despite loving sor I knew nothing of this remake.

Due to sega's Abuses will lead to banery the game's been taken off from the official site but its easily available on torrents (Streets of Rage Remake v5). Highly recommend it! Esp its a blast with two players and the guys responsible for it did a tremendous job!

Game has 4 graphical presets and they all look good on their own. Still HQx looks the best so far.

One of my favorites too, brings back the memories of good old sega mega drive days . I still remember listening to street of rage one starting music it was awesome. I am going to download this right now!

Dude Sega has every right to remove the game from the site, the game is their property and last I checked you can't remake a game into HD or whatever without permission from the parent company =/, how would you like it if you made a game, someone made it better and was making money off it?

First of all the game was build from ground up. They used their own programming and all that stuff the original sor wasn't touched in any way what so ever. Second the game's been out for years but was only recently made popular by several gaming sites. Same was the case with the sonic game. Also the game's free!

So how would you feel if you spend 8 years on a game and were having no profit on it what so ever and were pulled off by a company ?

Streets of Rage was awesome! One of those rare games I've finished multiple times

Sega made them take it down. You can still find it on torrents.

I downloaded it. Played about 5 minutes, it's all that and then some.

I don't remember there being separate buttons for kick and punch in the original, there are in this. You can make some combos with that. Separate button for the behind punch and super.

The editor function was locked, don't know how to unlock it.

I'll give it more time over the weekend for sure.
