But I doubt the cable is being utilized by TW for consumers just yet; our pings suggest otherwise. Just like they told you, SF told me their upstream providers were optimizing their routing. Could this be a reference to the new cable?

Too bad SF is so reliable, I'm scared to shift to a faster service.

Only Transworld can answer when will they start using semewe5 , in mean time you should also tell SF to shift your circuit to pie

dubai 70ms , se asia 103ms , eu west 160-180 ingames ,these are after 12 am

Your pings seem to be high. On PIE (ingame) I used to get 45ms India, 85ms SEA, and 125ms EU (with Wtfast. Without it 140ms). Now I get 45-65ms dubai (wtfast has one server that gives me 40ms to dubai but there is packet loss--something they'll have to fix).

Are you sure your local network and connection to SF is optimal? I get 2-3ms to SF on a wireless connection. Also you should try out WTFast. It generally improves my latencies my 10-15ms and on Blizzard, it's the only way to connect to SEA servers.

i was getting ping 26 ms wireless on speedtest.net , i'll call them to check my connection , i also think people in karachi get lower pings than in lahore

Smw5 is active and deployed but only few companies are getting its routing as they cant shift every network over it those who are on tw1 network are having issue with SGP

Wouldn't SF (in this case CyberNET) to buy TW bandwidth and up to TW to route that traffic as best as they can? I assume this is what SF mean by upstream optimization.

Can anybody using TW FTTH comment on the pings they get. They don't have coverage in block 5 but I can assume we're next. Perhaps TW would be a better choice.

Thats weird. Ive been constantly getting 350+ on league euw.
I called them just now they said they're constantly switching upstream routing and asked for the ip im pinging. Said they'll adjust it asap. Jo bhi hai yaar I like their customer service. Ptcl's always been a pain in the ass.

Yes customer service achi ha , but we should always keep pressure on their NOC team to regularly optimize upstream routing , jab tak semewe5 use ni hoti

Hi guys. I am using tp link MR3420 and the net stops working every day or two. If i reset the router and the stormfibre modem, net starts working again. Any specific settings I need to change on my wireless router? I went with auto settings.

Check if your router need a firmware upgrade, i am having tenda 3g611r+ its working fine on auto settings (wired wan)

Stormfiber and transworld giving 160 pings? I thought these FTTH connection should give better. My Ptcl 8MB connection gives 160 pings on EU WEST server of LOL.

Means the only benefit is you guys can stream awesomely. streaming on PTCL sucks. and your UL/DL speeds seems amazing too.
