Current Situation
We've been excited, had some tears of joy and praise lord gabeN for listening to our glorious prayers and... this is it.
our lord and savior gabeN has done all it could and now it is left to the developers/publishers to provide us the happiness that we deserve!
All hail lord gabeN! Chummia to you fatty.
As lately evident, some titles are going down in prices for a few days and then they go right back up to their original prices, thats a massive dick move from the dev/pubs but... nothing we can do that. Except send curses down that way and never buy that title because they're asking for it.
However, the only explanation to this is that they do not want to drop the prices on the product for the region, and the only reason they might be doing this is probably to prevent the product from being pulled from the store front in the region after the it goes live officially.
Now, that we've got the much needed thing from SteamDB, we can finally see for ourselves what's happening on the store from on this side.
And theres alot happening, I'm sure most of you are worried about the fiasco about the prices.
But worry not, most of the titles, MOSTLY INDEPENDENT! are going to give us proper numbers to afford.... while those big massive wigs with coats that has snake-like ties on their necks, we're not sure of them. But we have to hope. Thats all that matters.
So, to ease your mind in case you're worried.
I've updated the main page with the most GLORIOUS TITLES TO RECEIVE A PRICE DROP!
PRAISE PRAISE PRAISE!

Google Spreadsheet is up!
Full list of title will be on HERE!
Thanks to contributors @play3r1 @JANARIOO And me!

So what does this mean?
That means you can link your Credit/Debit card to your steam account now without having to pay any profits to these Card sellers,
reducing the risk of scam as well as making it more comfortable to purchase games.
It also means you wont have to risk your account anymore by bypassing regional restrictions on other countries as well!
IMPORTANT NOTICE :- It seems that MOST if not ALL of the store is going to see the change, This will be a slow process. If we are to go by previous regional changes. This can easily take upto 1 year in total for half of the catalog. A full change will be seen in the distant future! All in All, Yes. The whole catalog will get a good drop. Sometime... Sometime.

Spoiler: show
So what is happening?
Steam has added more payment methods, as well as local currencies to make its global reach more "accessible".
including an addition of a new region, called South Asian Region (SAR), which includes Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, And Pakistan.
Now, Since we're in Pakistan.
We're included under the SAR region and no, this does not mean we'll get prices in PKR.
The prices we will get in SAR are going to be discounted in USD, to make it more affordable for us.
For example, a $60 title is $30 now. We'll pay around PKR 3,000. That is, for a brand new title that just released.
Quite affordable, no?
Ofcourse, Unlike the indian region, we're nowhere near a fraction of a market that country is.
Which is why, a whole region (Namely SAR) was considered (logically) instead of a single country and a currency.
Now that you know what is happening, let me tell you, WHEN it will happen.
We can not say for sure, but I'll use the previous history as a lesson here.
It can take upto a year, or 2 years in total for the whole catalog to get amends to the pricing.
Why? Because this is not done by steam itself, but the publishers and developers.
So you can, hopefully, understand the delay.
However, things could be different.
According to the email, they said that the pricing should be amended before the "new regions" go live LATER this year. This can be anything, Winter sale or autumn sale.
But for now, all is speculation, and just like you. I am excited.
Ofcourse, you can use your current credit/debit cards on the store, just as you could before as well.
There is no change in that. You will not pay taxes, apart from what the bank charges for each purchase.
To answer a popular question asked by many members!
Yes, prices on sales will be even more discounted!
Otherwise, they wouldnt be called sales at all!
Updates in here.

Thanks to @JANARIOO it has come to my attention that SOME of the games on Steam Store have recieved a hefty price drop.
And not just any price drop, they seem too economical to be a anomaly.
Confirmation?
Well, Go to steam store, log out of your account.
Find the games listed above and add ?cc=PK at the end of the URL. (This way you can get the the country specific pages and prices)

Updates in here.
Update:
most titles on SAR's price median seem to follow a pattern.
5.49 USD for a regular $10 product.
8.19 for a regular $20 product.
10.49 for a regular $30 product.
12.99 for a regular $40 product.
15.99 for a regular $50 product.
Not sure what point I wanted to make here but some titles seem to have a drop according to pattern.
Update 2:
According to @gullfounder - The store still seems to follow the steam's regional restriction.
So you cant gift the games to any region with higher prices on the games.
In other words, gifting is region locked for Pakistan and SAR in general.
Update 3:
Some developers seem to changing the prices and then setting them back to their original one,
probably to avoid getting their game pulled off when the region and everything else goes live later.
Quite a sad revelation I must say, but... its their games. Hard to complain.

UPDATE :-
As part of our continuing efforts to make Steam better for players around the world, we are now accepting game pricing in 10 new currencies and 1 new region. Please enter pricing for the following new currencies with launch planned for later this year:
• Argentinian Peso (ARS)
• Costa Rican Colón (CRC)
• Israeli New Shekel (ILS)
• Kazakhstani Tenge (KZT)
• Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD)
• Polish Zloty (PLN)*
• Qatari Rial (QAR)
• Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH)
• Uruguayan Peso (UYU)
• Vietnamese Dong (VND)
• South Asian Pricing Region (USD discounted pricing for Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka)
In addition to offering local currency pricing in more countries, players in these countries will also be able to use a variety of previously unavailable payment methods. With this update, Steam will support a total of 39 currencies and 80 payment methods, giving your games truly global reach.
Pricing should be entered as soon as possible, with display of these new currencies scheduled to go live in time for our 2017 Autumn and Winter Sales. To enter pricing, sign in to the Steamworks Developer Site and select Pricing from the Apps & Packages drop-down. You will see green-colored recommendations filled in for new currencies, based on your selected USD base price. These recommended prices can be accepted or adjusted at your discretion. As a reminder, if you do not have pricing entered for a country after a local currency is set live on the Steam storefront, your game will be unavailable for sale in that country.
We have also updated our recommended pricing matrix for new and existing currencies. Our goal is to update these recommendations annually, so as to better help developers succeed in markets worldwide. Pricing decisions on Steam are entirely in the hands of you the developer, and we encourage you to always do what’s best for your players. You can find more information and suggested best practices in the Steamworks Pricing Documentation.
*PLN pricing is specific to Poland, but as always any game licenses purchased within an EEA country (either directly or as a gift) can be redeemed by any user within the EEA.
