I dont really know this much but my cousins did this stuff and they used to prepare a Cola at home and then sale it but the BIGGEST challenge in it was the Food Quality checking authority.. they will just need Rishwat everytime to approve ur products otherwise they will non stop send warnings on quality etc...

plus most business dont start producing a profit till atleast an year...so you should have the funds to keep it going...increasing the price of product wont do.
i would suggest start with a bakery type supermarket kind of a thing and build on it.

that way you'll be better able to mange your capital, and its less of a risk

pretty much like that bakery gourmet in lahore...they stated of as a bakery, albeit with a extremely strong financial backing, and now they have there own milk/soda/mineral water/ice cream

it will be way to hard to Compel ppl to Consume your product then other market Giants

Resturant is better idea with Good Tasty Higenic food in reasonable rates With Couple of Deals and in A Good Prime location with Pleasant Envoirment

If you really have 5 million to spend, then I suggest opening a restaurant man. Less hassle, you'll get the chefs easily I suppose.
Plus, if that juice you should sell doesn't really appeal to customers then you might face loses and MIGHT just not even breakeven. The latter might not be the same case if you were to open a restaurant.
Also the operating expenses will be far less than if you were to run a factory, even on a small scale.

It's your call in the end though, that was just my two cents

For something like beverages go for this drink called freeze , google it. The taste is so good.

Otherwise many people have posted fruit yogurt, you could go for those puddings. I never find them in Karachi except in naheed or macro. They taste fucking great.

Yar if it's a standard and patent brev company u are trying to establish itl require 10 times more capital to be inducted...
The recipe.. The machinery.. Land.. building.. Registration.. Working capital.. Cash.. Taxation... every thing has to be taken into account

Why not start a small restaurant??
Here in Defence a Small restaurant has been opened i.e 14 Street Pizza although they only deliver there is no place to dine but believe me their Pizza's sell like hot cakes they are tasty or u can say premium in thier taste why not go for something small scale and slowly spread the business it will be much better than supervising a factory and introducing it in many cities
Similarly My sister knows a girl she started her own cake selling type thingy and by now she has got many faithful customers

Umair, the land we own is in an industrial area otherwise restaurant idea is also good but totally out of scope from what i am asking right now

Get a franchise, open in a posh area am sure you will get a whole clientele of burger aunties to teenagers....food related, hassle free because you get everything from guidance to equipment through them, First movers advantage its in all this healthy food etc....and considering what a place islamabad is im sure its gonna be a hit with the foreigners too! You have no idea how much craze this product is eliciting in the U.S!!

On a serious note, if you have money to spend try and bring Burger King in Pakistan. That would really be a milestone achievement.

The Beverage sector is pretty saturated as it is, you see tons of energy drinks ads every day.

EDIT: Just checked deltree's idea and I have personally gone through the entire website and it's a fantastic idea to say the least. It's a totally new product and it will be a big hit in our big cities. You have to open a minimum of 2 stores though. And the cost per store was $400k or something like that.
