MULTI Soul Reaver reboot reportedly in the works

Does the Legacy live on? A source tells VG247 that Crystal Dynamics is preparing a "full reworking" of theSoul Reaver series, complete with a new art direction. At the moment details are scarce, but then so are Kain and Raziel these days. Both made an appearance as playable characters in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light DLC, but other than that (and Soul Reaver on PSN), we haven't seen our duo sinceLegacy of Kain: Defiance in 2003. It's unclear where this new game would fit in the series, but given that the last game and the Lara Croft DLC featured both Kain and Raziel as playable characters, I personally hope the next will, too. Honestly speaking, I wouldn't expect much from the reboot. Why?

Fun fact: Half of the people who used to work for Crystal Dynamics back in its glory days (and made the Soul Reaver games what they were) now work for Naughty Dog. Example:

Who can forget the Elder God Voice Actor (forgot his name). Sadly he passed away a few years ago. Soul Reaver wouldn't be complete without him.
