first of all core i5 and core i3 don't have too much difference....... core i3 370m beats core i5 450m....... If u're thinking core i5 is too much better then remove that doubt... If u want to play little games then go for the N5010 (59k one).......... If u don't play games very often and play mini games like CS then go for 52k version of N5010

Well, i wanted to do some online gaming, like MW and stuff with it! This will act as my primary computer, and heavily used, so it has to be durable! and i wanted the Core i5 version, because i thought it would be a bit more future proof! :s

If you have the budget, and can only buy from Pakistan and not from abroad, then go for it. Or wait for hardware awesome gurus to give better advice. But AFAIK, on Galaxy, you can't find a better laptop than N5010 at that price range

I have this very model... Only I got it for 66k
Anyways, games like most wanted run on it pretty good.
Battery time is around 2.5-3 hours... sometimes even 3.5Hours.
So its a pretty good lappy.... You wont find anything better than this in that price. Go for it.

Does it ever face any overheating issues? and what OS did you install? i was really hoping to get a genuine copy of Windows 7, but sadly this model doesnt come with one!

dude i recently bought this model for a friend... its for 59k but with 2 GB ram, so add another 4500rs for another 2GB stick... there is a shop on the ground floor, laptop kee, molvi banda huta hai.... and in the basement, next to MAS computers...

There is a little change in the specs. If you buy from galaxy, the card in it is 550v not 5470.
My friend bought it and we installed all latest drivers and checked through both ATI panel and GPU-Z and CPU-Z.

From all the reviews I have read the 550v is based on 4650 card but is equivalent to the 5470. But I couldn't find any definite benchmarks.

550v is alot better then HD 5470........... 320 steam cores vs 80 stream core.........

Yes but there was also some difference of DX version as well don't remember the exact details. Google it.

Good luck. I suggest you take latest ati catalyst drivers/ GPU-Z with you in USB so you can check on the spot if the GPU is 5470 or 550v

cuz my frnds laptop showed the 550v as 46 series ati card without drivers/software.

i checked both of the GPU's out on notebookcheck.com and the 46XX series performed better than 5470, so i think ill go for 550v!!!
