should i go for iphone 4?

actually its my friend whose planning to buy the iphone 4....so do u suggest to buy an iphone 4 now to use in pakistan...as i heard it has micro sim...so how to get the normal sim working?

and abt the antenna problem(siganal) problem..is it fixed yet by fw update...

and what abt the jailbreak?

and if its not feasible to buy an iphone 4 yet...then suggest any other phone in same specs and price..

I'll have to disagree with both your comments. The 3GS has a superb battery and the iPhone 4 unlock and jailbreak is already out.

Any standard sim cam be cut down in size to be turned into a micro sim. You just need a cutter, it's an easy process. And also a great phone in that price range is the samsung galaxy S or HTC Desire or any one from an array of new android handsets.

I am a iphone fan but I will not recommend iphone 4 to anyone who already have a iphone 3G or 3GS (unless they have free money to throw away), however:

- If you never used a iphone before and have some good cash in your pocket which you want to use than go for iphone 4, you won't find a better touch screen cell phone than a iphone 4.

BTW, iphone 4 jailbrak and unlock are already available and working fine.

comon yaar main ne 2 3gs purchase kar k sale kiye hain sirf bettry ki prob ki wajha se . ek main ne lahore i city se liya tha aur dosra usa se mungwaya tha aur dono main yehi prob thi . agar tumhe yakeen nai hota to 3gs purchas karo aur do din taka k use karo khudi pata chal jaye ga . aur rahi baat jhan tak 4g ki tu woh abhi tak fully hack nai howa yaar . mera i phone ka kaam hai main khud bahir se import kar k haffiz center man sale karta hon . shope ka naam hai PENORAMA COMPUTER . OK agar lena ho tu mujhe bta dena tum .

If you are planning to do some hardcore gaming Then go for iPhone 4. If you want heavy customization and stuff such as awesome apps, go with an Android phone.

Yup you are right. If you want awesome games, then iPhone 3G and 3GS will also work great...

But for apps and awesome customization, go for Android (and awesome camera too )

I know in Canada there's one dealer who gets iPads directly from Foxconn and sells them for 199

If you are a fan of the iPhone OS, buy it. It is certainly not the best touchscreen phone and it is already behind the curve, but if you prefer the iPhone OS it is the best one yet.
However, if you would rather get more for your money and don't want any Apple-y restrictions, you'd be better off with an Android phone. The Samsung Galaxy S is the closest iPhone competitor and is perfect for gaming as well as everything else an Android phone offers.
