This was an awesome gory movie. The end is totally cringe worthy and the sick thing is that i watched this movie with my sisters. Yes, i am indeed a twisted fellow

YES! Inside (À l'intérieur) and Martyrs are both VERY good movies. These two along with High Tension form my holy trinity of French new wave cinema!

reagarding the twist @ the end... found something very interesting;

u know how the woman at the end asks 'wat do you see?' and then they show a bright light etc... according to the director, the word Martyr in french (already taken frm greek0 means 'witness' this way thyre making her a witness to see what happens after death and all.

the thing that blew my mind was martyr is directly translated as 'shaheed' in urdu, which is also 'someone whos witness to something' literally... so there u have it!
