XBOX RUMOR: Gears of War 3 to premiere at VGA's

It is believed that Gears of War 3 is currently in development. You would have heard those rumours several months ago, but could the game be unveiled at the 2009 Video Game Awards?
Spike TV host Geoff Keighley recently sent a tweet to the Gears of War design director Cliff 'CliffyB' Bleszinski saying;
"You ready for the big show on Saturday night? Can't wait to see you!"
The 2009 VGA's still have a few unannounced titles that will be announced at the awards ceremony, and Keighley has been teasing us all saying that the line-up will blow us away. Gears of War 3 would definitely blow us all away I'm sure. Let's hope it happens.
It may not be Gear 3 however, EA Games are set to publish a new IP from the North Carolina based developers. So they could be unveiling that project for the first time.
The 2009 Video Game Awards take place on December 12, and unfortunately will not be shown via live online stream. We'll bring you all the latest VGA updates.
This is strictly rumour, so don't get carried away guys. All we can do is hope for the best, and maybe Gears 3 will turn up, somewhere.

This rumor might not require another thread, but I'm so hopeful and excited about this. I really wish they would annouce Gears 3. All other Gears-phile can post here and share their news about any other rumors that they've come across!

MICROSOFT needs to take some momentum into into next year and Gears of War 3 will surely provide that :) but its highly unlikely still possible *fingers crossed*

seems a Gears 3 announcement (or a new IP from Epic) is not out of the cards.


But what of other quiet Internet chatter that perhaps Epic would be revealed Gears of War 3?

Historically both Gears 1 and Gears 2 were revealed in their year's GDC shows. I don't see a Gears 3 announcement this early, especially on the same show as a full on Halo game.

but if both the chief and marcus drop down on the show, it will be impressive.

    So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios.     Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
