PC RTS / Strategy Game Recommendation.

Hello guys.

Would you guys recomend me some old (Not graphically intensive and would play without a GPU) RTS / Strategy games?


im quite a fanatic of those sort of games.
So please recommend me a few that can play without a GPU!


oh and no Turned based strategys please lol


EDIT: yeah i got a dual core laptop.
No PC with me now since i sold most of it.
Anyway! keep continuing the list without GPU related ones!

Try commandos 1-3 its pretty different than your run of the mill rts games

Ya if you can bear starcraft's poor graphics, then do play this game it definitely deserve a chance and you can also try warcraft 3, warlord battlecry 3(it has some bugs and all but its a good game) Tropico Series.

Starcraft: Broodwar is the no.1 RTS of all time imo, you should try it.

Yeah i got a Pentiuim D Laptop.
So no gpu.

Any empire building game like Civ is welcome too

You can play sims 1,2 or a wonderful game is "The Movies" you will definitely love it.One of my favourite starategy games after Stronghold crusader is "Cossacks".Another very good strategy games on which I spent a lot of time was Knights of Honour.
