It's like thinking taking a shower at 120 drops per second with intermittent water outage is better than taking a shower at a smooth 60 drops per second with some minor reduction in the drop rate here and there
Severity of frame times gets reflected in the percentile. Otherwise they aren't "stalls" or "micro pauses"

No need to imagine. We can scientifically prove it using CerebralTiger's criteria i.e. 5th percentile 58fps or higher or 1st percentile 48fps or higher

I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform.Then they cry that console gaming is dying. -
