guys i need suggestion, i have vfone as a backup internet when m dsl dont work, but its speed really sucks and 100rs card ends ver quickly dont know why..so i was thinking to get the evo 3g device as a backup, so tell me is it a post paid device or can i use it whenever i want to use it by loading card like i do with vfone? if it can be like a pre paid device, then whats the price of new device? and whats the avg speed on it? im sure it will be much better than vfone..

It's hard to guess surprises but I have a personal feeling that they are cutting down customers on higher bandwidths so that on 14 august they can Upgrade the bandwidth of the remaining users of the higher bandwidth.....(surprise worthy enough for those who will still be on the same speeds).

Ya it can work as prepaid also by loading cards. Minimum is ; load 100 rs card and use unlimited 3.1 Mb\s in one day, (There are also other packages chk them on there site)

The price is 3999 rs (Again chk there site to confirm) . The avg speed varies according to your location, if you are house is just below the tower then you MIGHT get full speed otherwise you will get shittiest speed ever. No, either way i m not but they have a tradition of giving good surprises on 14th aug. And above all what's the harm in expecting. As we all have to pay anyway for this month atleast.

finally my evo is activated and im very happy with the speed, my signal strenght is 99% and somtimes speed stays above 350+ and somtimes between 200-250kbps..browsing is also very good..
all over im happy with this device, atleast its way better than ptcl wireless which i was using as a backup,

I guess people just got hasty and thought that they would have to pay extra 1000rs this month as well, i was just waiting for it to be officially confirmed. Maybe it will come next month as this bill was of July and not August technically speaking...
