It says 12V=20A on it. Is that good enough for a 8500gt or a 8600gt.

Btw i'm also getting a Geforce 8600GT 512 Mb PCI-E XFX, will it work? And is it better then the 8500gt?

Okay so i have a choice between 8600GT 512Mb DDR 2 and 8600GT 256MB GDDR3.

From comparison here the 256mb GDDR3 looks better. So which card should i go for.

i am having problem with my pc from last two days
whenever i start playing any game even low end game after few mins my pc restarts else pc is running fine but when i star game it restarts in few mins
i have reinstalled my window and using up to date drivers

bro u shud get 8600gt ddr3 its better than ddr2 gpu.......its prfrmance is far better and equal or bit better than 9500gt ddr2

Check temperature of various PC components .

in gaming it goes to 75-80C !!!!

chk ur hsf whether its correctly installed

No it's not OK check your heat sink if it's seated properly and reapply thermal paste if needed.

I ordered a 800mhz 1Gb DDR2 Ram for my PC. It has M2V-TVM motherboard and now that i check here today http://www.asus.com/Compare/ it says in the memory column max.2 GB, DDR2 667/ 533, So will the 800mhz work? I guess it won't. =(

It might work, but will work on lower speed 667mhz

I hope i don't screw my motherboard like the last time i did by putting in a DDR1 Ram in a DDR2 slot.

^ the memory should work on your pc. but pc will detect it as 667mhz. i m not sure about working but usually motherboard pick high speed rams

It will work. since every ram is rated at 3,4 speeds and run at maximum speed supported by mobo and configuration
Dont wory it will automatically clock down.

i am facing a problem which might be due to my motherboard(945gzm-s2). when i turn on the pc, windows shows message that audio device (speaker ) is plugged and after a second shows UNPLUGGED MESSAGE.
The plugged and unplugged messages repeat again and again and the speaker doesnt work 90 % of times.
i have checked that the speaker jack is correctly plugged into the right hole.
WHAT IS THE REASON OF PROBLEM???
IS THAT PROBLEM REPAIRABLE????
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST TO REPAIR IT APPROXIMATELY??

Well i got the RAM and it doesn't work on my mobo. It doesn't clockdown automatically for sure, The LCD doesn't give any display, After removing the ram i have to restart the PC 2-3 times just to get the display.

How do i check if the ram is faulty or if the mobo isn't supportive. I don't have another PC to check it with.

The speaker plug is damaged a new one can be replaced at 30 rs.
