But RE is a massive franchise with 20+ entries and not all of them will be anywhere close to RE4.

The game turns into an fps after that. Doll house is about as high as it gets!

Finished this a while back lol. To sum up my critical analysis, Village was great up until House Beneviento, but it goes downhill from there.

Didn't mind the Reservoir section all that much, but the Stronghold and Factory were plain bad.

This isn't really supposed to be a first-person shooter, but the developers for some reason wanted it to be one past the mid-point. It also sort of happens towards the end of RE7, but it wasn't as bad there. Also, it would've been much better if there had been some sort of dodge mechanic, instead of Ethan's block being the most OP thing in the entire game lol.

Overall score: 8/10 (the 1st and 2nd areas were a 9/10, the 3rd one was an 8/10, and the 4th and 5th were a 7/10)
