I mean, he just wants flickstick to be incorporated in the game. I don't disagree that it's better than the current Splatoon implementation, but it's great regardless 🤷‍♂️

Now how about the part where he says:

Gyro is the mouse of the CONTROLLER. It's that simple. Make it good :)

Tried the demo with Steam Controller, this is how smooth proper gyro should feel
What happened during the remainder of your time in that village area? Not worth showing? 🤷‍♂️:LOL:

The fact is a lot of PC gamers complaining about crashes with the demo.
I wonder what would happen when the full version launches.

Here is a summary of issues pointed out by experts at GN24 with the half baked PC ports.

  1. Many gamers are complaining about the PC version from the demo Of Resident Evil 4.
  2. Issues with Steam Deck where games seem to exhibit some graphical glitches.
  3. Some users are suffering from inconsequential framerate issues
  4. Somebody recommended disabling ray retracing to solve some problems with fluidity, but in general, it hasn’t yet been found to prevent the issues.

But no need arguing with PC fans.
Here's how they respond when you point to them the plethora of bugs with PC games.

Comparing PS5 vs Xbox

- All versions use the same temporal reconstruction technique for resolution that we saw in RE Village.
- PS5 and Xbox Series X use dynamic resolution for performance mode. PS5's average resolution is slightly higher in this mode in the areas tested, (PS5: 1872p | XSX: 1836p).
- PS5 has a performance advantage over XSX with RT on, with an average of 5/10fps over.
- PS5 version textures look better than XBox that look a bit saturated and dull lighting effects


Here is the reason X Bawks resolution FPS performance is inferior to PS5 in the video.

A lot of gamers on GameSpot and Steam forums also complaining about the crash, and memory leak issue with the demo.

This game - along with a long list of other AAA games released lately - is poorly optimized for the PCs.



Just look at the negative performance reviews on YouTube by PC gamers. And this is just the demo.

I can relate with these gamers for a lot of pathetic PC optimized games, not just RE4 Remake.

Looks like the Xbox dead zone issue is mostly fixed in the retail game with the day 1 patch.

People on Era who have the copies are giving their impressions.

Glad I didn't cave in based on the demo impressions and changed my order 😍

Yeah I am replaying the parts in the demo and trying to compare for you guys. The aim is MUCH smoother. Flipping between the demo and the full game it's night and day with the same settings. It felt like there was a slight delay in movement in the demo when aiming and that is completely gone. I was struggling with the first two encounters sometimes and was popping headshots in the full game.

I can also tell you have to exert much less force on the joystick to get Leon moving so they fixed something between demo and full release.

- PS5 has missing RT compared to Xbox, PC
- PS5 has lower resolution and worse image quality and breakup. Xbox runs higher and more stable
- Xbox's bigger VRR range also makes it better for performance


I'm glad I didn't change my pre order 😍

Also, they ditched the reshade RTGI for this. Naa honay se to behtar hi tha. RT is even more useless now in this game.

-Better shading on PC (console generic SSAO coverage with halo artefacts vs higher quality AMD's AO solution)
-Better Hair quality
-Superior mouse+kb controls
-PC version has higher quality textures as well.

It just takes care of visual judder below 48fps, which the PS5 version doesn't. But the PS5 version doesn't drop that low as often as Series X either in Performance mode w/ RT On. Also, frame times would still be more consistent on PS5, regardless. Hopefully, VG Tech also does a comparison to demonstrate this.

Aur ab stutter ki definition hi change kardi so CerebralTiger can feel better about the sorry state of the PS5 version. And something DF themselves called "only minor" and outright called PC version the best way to play 🤷‍♂️
