Question regarding BS(CS) from FAST.

All right, I'm so freaked out right now. Someone has told me that FAST university does not accept students of 'General Science' - Intermediate (college) for its BS(CS) program. Is this right? If it is, what the hell am I supposed to do? I can't just change from General Science (also commonly known as Computer Science) to Pre-Engineering. I'm in my second year as of now. He, and a few others, also told me that it is not only for FAST, but for NUST, IBA, Baharia, etc. as well. They do not take students of General Science (Intermediate) for their BS(CS) programs.


Please enlighten me on this problem, I don't want to waste 2 years of college doing the wrong program.

NUST:

BS Computer Science
FSc / equivalent/(Pre-Engineering/Computer Science Group) with a combination of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Computer Studies/Science

Minimum 60% aggregate marks each in Matric (Science Group) and FSc/ equivalent exams (Pre-Engineering/Computer Science Group). No deviation in this regard is allowed.

Wow, I think I broke my own stupidity record; I forgot that such things called WEBSITES exist, and these universities have them. Oh God. I guess panic does this to you.

QUESTION #2:
Which university would you guys recommend for BS(CS)?
FAST or NUST. I'm hearing FAST is the best university in Pakistan for computer science studies, but I'd like to hear some more opinions.

FAST is really good for CS. While NUST isn't that bad either, it has a better REP. So don't think twice if you get IN EITHER of them.
