The reason for banning was that Xiaomi uses single imei for dual sim phones which is against the Standards of PTA + they weren't registering themselves in Pakistan as mobile phone seller.
Only the CN variants have the same IMEI, intl. variants that are sold everywhere else have 2 unique IMEIs

anyway It looks like its monopoly of QMobile trying to kill competition as they know they wont stand a chance against Xiaomi .. same as the monopoly of Suzuki in automotive industry...
