As per information from their homepage, they have started operations in Lahore (Eden Canal Villas)

No download cap. Upload speed is synchronous for Ice/ Tornado/ Cyclone/ Hurricane packages. Capped at 5Mbps for Blizzard and Thunder.

we do follow FUP but at present there isn’t any download limitation or volume cap. Although the services are neither CIR nor actually shared on ratio basis, yet overall contention on uplink at certain times may result in inconsistency of traffic pattern.

StormFiber is offering Consumer packages in provision of (BE) best effort Internet services, therefore we cannot commit guaranteed latency to any destination because latency may vary at Upstreams according to routes and network changes at respective hops.

Installation time: 14 days after payment
Download cap: None (unlimited downloading)
You will have access to the admin page of router so you can port forward etc.

i cant , pings(icmp) are forced blocked by the firmware on the modem

Hey ultimate, how would you rate their internet in comparison with fiberlink/transworld? Downtimes? Fluctuation in ping during peak-times?

I've signed up for it, but im getting mad jitters, as it is a big investment, and currently Pakistan internet is just one big shitfest. Wish I could have gotten transworld, but I can't sit around waiting for them while PTCL keeps taking my money and giving me absolute rubbish. Rambling aside, are you happy with this?

No, I'm from Lahore and StormFiber isn't available in my area (yet). I'm interested in their cable TV service as PTCL Smart TV has horrendous quality. If you get the cable service, be sure to give a short review/ comparison to other cable services that you've used.

I wonder why the official stormfiber thread that was created 2 years back is locked.
I just got connected today and so far the experience has been excellent! For the first time in my life I've been able to stream 1080p content on Youtube on a 4mb connection, something that had never been possible for me even on the best day at PTCL.The browsing is excellent, around 450kb/s download on torrents and 85ms ping to SE Asia in Dota 2(and the ping remains stable).
I'll post a detailed review in a week or two with screenshots and everything.For the time being, here's a picture of the device they provided.I can't figure out what brand it is since there's no mention of it and neither is searching the model id bringing up anything on google.
