problems with 7600GT AGP

I posted a thread like this sometime back, i was having trouble with my games after upgrading from 6200 AGP to 7600 GT AGP...the textures seem to go haywire in games...ive tried everything...even got a new 460 watt powersupply...freed up my pCI slots so that i could divert more supply to the card...but invain.:-(..Ive even tried my friend's XFX 7600 GT on my pc...but it had the same results..:-(Mine is from INNO..please...if anyone could help my out...one thing more..my mobo got short circuited many months back and i got it repaired...my 6200 ran without problems on it. IS it something wit my mobo????'-(

maybe your mobo or maybe the INNO!!!!!!!!

check your card for black spots and sniff for burnout smell.

definitely its your MOBO ( i could be wrong so try the things below to be sure)

check your card in your friends system, if the problem persist then it could be your card, but i think definitely its your mobo because your friends card is messing up in your PC too..

could be ram ( check that too in your friends system too make sure)

clean install windows, update all drivers... this should solve your problem... also check your card on friend's PC

I think motherboard is not providing the card enough power through the slot. And if this is the case, your card might have been screwed running in that condition.

In any case, checking your card in a different setup will clear things.
