A few days back I spent two hours downloading and cropping wallpapers. Since the wallpapers were only gonna be spread across one screen, I cropped it at 800x480. All images wasted. Stupid Android. Jab homescreen he aik rakhni hai to what's the point of having a larger wallpaper?

some people also disable wallpaper scrolling when having multiple screens so its a bit annoying.

guys can you help me create a locksreen something like this

the slider is a theme for widgetlocker...that is where i found the image http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=968613&page=2


the temperature and battery is minimalistic text i guess...easy

time and date isnt an issue as well.

the thing is the icons on the top...they probably aren't too hard to make and im sure there is an app for it, the problem is i cant find a way to change the icons on the widgetlocker tool mode screen.

on my homescreen i would just long press the icon and the edit option show up but no such option here.
so is there a work around, or something.

I'm not sure what you mean here but that seems like SMS Unread Count widget with custom icons.

If you want the ability of placing a shortcut and changing its icon, then use Desktop Visualizer.

oh yea, those arent applications with custom icons, they are sms unread count widget...didnt know abt this app. thanks, problem solved.


btw i can change icons on my homescreen but on on the widget locker lock screen.

i use it instead of the default lock screen because it has custom slider options and more flexible in terms of modifying.
also lets me wake the screen up using the camera button which feels more durable than the power button.

Done with my setup for now, next one probably when I am free (which will probably be rare from next month)

Changed the lockscreen and homescreen wallpaper in this one as well as the dock, also I've setup widgets on the remaining 4 homescreens and all of them are transparent.I can post full screen shots of them if anyone wants.
