[SOLVED] Please Help! Pc bottleneck and suggestions required.

Salam all muslims,
i have a problem that somtimes there is sudden fps drop appear during playing games(mafia 3, mirrors edge catalyst) and in some games whille playing, game stuck(like mortal combat X, nfs rivals).
My pc Specs are:
Processor: Intel core i5-3470 (3.2ghz)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 (3gb)
Moderboard: Intell(dont know the exact model but i can say that its not better)
Ram: 8gb
PSU: 450 watts.
Please it would be very kind of u all to sort it out for me or give me some suggestions. Thanks.

Did u try to compare results of 1060gtx in other games?
U have a 3rd gen i5 which is quite good, can u share screenshots ... Run something like afterburner or any other software which can monitor ur CPU n gpu usage while playing
N what resolution n texture settings ur playing these games

It can be anything from processor overheating or your power supply not being enough for your cpu or it can even be the ram. I don't see any reason your cpu would bottleneck or cause freezes. Which brand is the psu? It could be the ram aswell.
Try Prime95 stress test on cpu and ram and also monitor the temps from HWmonitor

I don't think so its a CPU bottleneck. Since any i5 would work 100% efficient for most games at high settings. it could be related to overheating of CPU and GPU.
Share some screenshot of temperatures. Use MSI Afterburner and monitor GPU/CPU usage and temperature while gaming.

Of course, PSU factor cannot be ignorable after all. A weak PSU could Shrink gaming Performance, can result in sudden fps drop. But PSU verifying should be your last priority. For now you should diagnose CPU and GPU thermal performance.

Give us max possible details so we can help you earliest.

saw ur results n ur screen shots
Ur CPU is throttling due to over heating
Use some better CPU cooler and check if the its properly installed or not
100°C is quote high for a stock CPU
u dont need a new cpu cooler, ur current cpu cooler is not properly installed or some thing else is messing with it
stock cpu cooler can easily keep a processor fairly cool

Also are u sure that thermal paste is applied properly or applied at all?

Ahhhh! its purely CPU overheating issue. Your CPU should not exceed 70C, if i assumed you are at Stock Intel Cooler.
Reapply a fresh paste (Quality Thermal paste recommended), use Pee drop on chip or spread to equate and reseat your CPU cooler properly. I am sure you will see the difference.

If you're confused on proper installation, see below screenshots and follow

In case you go with Aftermarket CPU Cooler, it will cost you extra bucks but handy in long run especially in Summer season. However, For now Intel Stock is fine for your need considering the Cold environment. Lowest Ambient.
