Hi guys. I am planning to buy a 4K HDR 55inch TV for my PS4 PRO and PC
i've narrowed it down to the following
1. Sony X900E
2. Vizio M-Series 2018
Both have excellent HDR output which is my primary concern.

Now, i know you're thinking Vizio is not available in PK but i am thinking of getting it imported from US

I saw a good price on bhphotovideo and they also deliver to PK with DHL Express.

My question is whether any of you have had experience importing use that website and what kind of import duties/sales tax/other taxes i will be looking at after importing.
I heard its about 37% on top of Cost of TV+shipping.
Anyone here can help out regarding this? or offer a better alternative/service that does import on TVs?
I know Sony is available here but it's way too expensive.
Please advise

I think you should go with Sony. The custom costs would be a lot and there's no guarantee how much they'll charge you. DHL/FEDX are known for charging a lot even on smaller items that you wouldn't expect to have a custom fee on.

Earlier this month I asked Sony about X850e and 900e. They quoted me the price of 165K for 850e 55" and 900e according to them only launched in 65" (in Pakistan) which was around 290K. Both prices include warrenty.

If you can spend 150-160K then 850e wouldn't be a bad buy by any means. It's a great TV.

thanks for replying.
So what did you end up buying then?
My question is how big of a different in image quality would a Sony x850E vs TCL C2 be? I mean the TCL C2 is going for 110K while the Sony X850E is around 165K as you mentioned.
Do you think the image quality for Sony justifies the price differential?
i ask because after checking reviews for X850E, no doubt its a good TV but the max brightness is not on the x900E levels.
So wouldnt a TV like TCL C2 which is not alot worse in brightness than the x850 make sense?

Bought tcl c2 55" recently. Facing some issues.
1) no sound in headphones while connected to jack until i reboot the tv.
2) tv turn on itslef sometimes. Also specially at night when i use my Gree ac remote to change temperature tv turns on.
3) after updating to android 7.0 i feel tv less responsive. Like volume response is slow and navigation also feels slow.
Any other c2 user here facing these issues. Today I registered a compalint with tcl support.

p6 in pak is different from the us version. TCL just launched the tcl c6, which is an upgrade over the tcl c2

Can't figure out how to connect the P6 with my samsung bluray so that it outputs sound to the home theatre system. The home theatre system and HDMI cable work since it works with our samsung tv (the bluray is samsung as well). Could this be a compatibility issue, or am I doing something really dumb? The HDMI cable connects the P6's HDMI ARC slot to the bluray, but no sound. The bluray can send its picture to the TV though. Furthermore, the optical cable doesnt work either, no sound. Any idea if this is a compatibility issue, or if its something I can fix?

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
