Will check the website reviews n share my views ...
I would still go for Samsung unless LG is OLED n I think LG UH650 is not ...
I did share some specs from LG website in the past also n UH650 etc is not HDR TV ... Their baseline UH series which has some decent HDR support is atleast 700 series ... So my suggestion is Samsung is a better option atleast we know it's specs

Is it ok to buy it without warrenty... i mean the "friends shop" in rawalpindi gives their own warrenty but if u ask for official warrenty then they ask u a lot more money than without warrenty.

NaumanManzoor this I can't say, depends what shop warranty they are giving, what r their terms n conditions. Must ask them what all aspects their warranty covers?
Because if shop warranty provides similar features which official warranty does like repairs and replacement warranty n there is nothing extra in official warranty then there is no fun paying for official warranty which gives u nothing extra.

Locally available ... Samsung KU7000 ...

Sent from WestWorld 2.0
I liked the GoLive functionality of TCL tvs, but the KU7000 seems like a good buy. I am not too picky about too functionality. I already have a UHD 9000 series 65" in the house (in the tv lounge so it was occupied by family members) , though I've never tried playing 4k gaming on it. Btw you guys are going to find this weird, but i don't like Samsung smart tv features. I think they oversell the entire thing, i could just do with a Youtube app and screen casting feature. Those are my primary uses, along with occasional gaming. I am going to go find a KU7000 soon.

Anyone know any leads on local prices in Lahore, for the KU7000.

Guys,

Need a buying advice, Saw TCL P2 yesterday. Looks good but size options are adequate. The two available options with TCL is 43 and 65 inch. I am looking for following options (in same priority).

- Size between 49 to 55 (65 is too big for my room)
- 4k (that's a must)
- Smart ( I like the TCL GoLive functionality where we can watch channels over the internet but i think it is not working on P2 led's, it requires you to update it to version 3 and that blocks the channels here. Not sure about this)
- Price: Maybe in between 60k - 80k ( depends on led and features)

I messaged TCL on FB to get the details on the P2 but got this weird response "Hi Sir, That model would be 43P2. ITs 4K and supports HDR but though the USB port only." Does this mean that it would make no sense for 4k gaming through PS4 Pro?

I know this is going to be a very subjective question but is it worth upgrading to a 4k TV if you have a PS4 Pro? I am currently looking for an entry level 4k HDR TV and going through the previous posts I think Samsung KU7000 is the best value for money. I have never tried a 4k display before so I am not sure if its a worthy upgrade so I need suggestions of fellow PGers if it would be worth dishing out 60k for a 4k TV. I am currently using a 1080p Samsung 40H5100 and i just want to know if the upgrade would have a wow factor if i game on it using the ps4 pro. The size would still be 40 inches as I have a small room and sit quite close to the TV while gaming. SMART features dont matter to me, I just need to know if the whole 4k HDR gaming on the PRO is really worth an upgrade. Other TV suggestions within this budget would also be most welcomed.

Well u got to check reviews about TCL P2, HDR10 and simple image contrast boost are two different things. I'm not sure how a TV can be an HDR10 TV n yet can't provide that support through HDMI. What I have read uptill now, Tcl P2 processes the image in TV and boosts the contrast. It's not true HDR10 tv and since there is no HDMI HDR support so it's just not worth to spend any money from ur own pocket or even if it's not ur own money. An OLED TV from LG with no HDR support would still be better option than these so called "HDR TVs"
Either get ku7000 or save a bit more n go for ks8000 in smaller size ...

65 inch is too big for my room and the other p2 model i was able to find was 43 inch. I don't think TCL has launch any p2 50 inch model.

This could be noob question but would the difference between 1080p and 4k be noticeable enough specifically in terms of PS PRO given that the size of the TV would still be 40 Inches ?

I was going through the prices of 40KU7000 and came across Ishopping.pk selling it at 53k. Is it legit ?
