*سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ:
ہم نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے تو آپ* صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
(کیا میں تمہیں ایسی دعا نہ بتلاؤں کہ* جب تم* سے کوئی مصیبت میں مبتلا ہو جائے، یا دنیاوی کوئی آزمائش آ جائے تو*** اس دعا کے کرنے سے اس کی مشکل کشائی ہو جائے؟)
تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا گیا: کیوں نہیں؟
تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
( ذو النون کی دعا: " لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ ")

آج کا دن: قاری عبد الباسط کی برسی​

تاریخ میں اتنی شہرت شاید ہی کسی قاری کو ملی ہو، جتنی کہ اللہ تبارک تعالیٰ نے قاری عبد الباسط کے نصیب میں لکھی۔ مصر سے تعلق رکھنے والے یہ عظیم قاری 1988ء میں آج ہی کے دن، یعنی 30 نومبر کو، ہم سے بچھڑ گئے۔ آپ کی آواز میں اللہ کی آخری کتاب "قرآن مجید" کی خوبصورت تلاوت آج بھی دنیا میں سب سے زیادہ مقبول ہے۔


دلنشیں آواز اور منفرد اندازکے حامل قاری عبد الباسط کا پورا نام عبد الباسط بن محمد بن عبد الصمد بن سلیم تھا اور دنیائے عرب میں آپ عبد الباسط عبد الصمد کے نام سے جانے جاتے تھے۔ آپ 1951ء میں ریڈیو قاہرہ پر تلاوت پیش ہوتے ہی ملک بھر میں مشہور ہو گئے اور پھر آہستہ آہستہ دنیا بھر کے مسلم ممالک میں آپ کی تلاوت نے لوگوں کے دل موہ لیے اور حکومت مصر نے آپ کو "کتاب اللہ کا سفیر" کا خطاب دیا۔


قاری عبد الباسط ہی کی وجہ سے عرب و عجم کے نوجوانوں میں قرآن مجید کی قرات کا شوق پیدا ہوا اور مقابلہ حسن قرات کی روایت زور پکڑتی چلی گئی۔ آپ واحد قاری تھے جنہوں نے 1970ء کی دہائی میں تین مرتبہ عالمی مقابلہ حسن قرات جیتا اور آپ اُن اولین حفاظ کرام میں سے تھے جنہوں نے اپنی قرات کی کمرشل ریکارڈنگ کروائی۔


آپ کو حرمین شریفین یعنی مسجد حرام اور مسجد نبوی کے علاوہ بیت المقدس میں مسجد اقصیٰ، دمشق میں اموی مسجد اور پاکستان میں بادشاہی مسجد سمیت دنیا بھر کے ممالک میں تلاوت قرآن مجید کا شرفملا اور جہاں بھی گئے فرزندانِ توحید کے دلوں کو اپنی آواز سے گداز کیا۔ اس کے علاوہ آپ نے امریکہ، یورپ، افریقہ اور ایشیا کے کئی ممالک کے دورے بھی کیے۔


آپ کو حکومت مصر کے علاوہ شام، ملائیشیا، پاکستان اور سینی گال کی جانب سے اعلیٰ قومی اعزازات سے نوازا گیا۔


قاری عبد الباسط کی زندگی کے آخری ایام ذیابیطس اور جگر کے عارضے میں گزرے، یہاں تک کہ آپ 30 نومبر 1988ء کو مصر میں انتقال کر گئے۔


آپ کی نماز جنازہ سرکاری سطح پر ادا کی گئی اور کئی مسلم ممالک کے سفیروں حتیٰ کے سربراہان مملکت نے بھی آپ کی آخری

رسومات میں شرکت کی۔

FATHER, I WANTED A CAR, NOT Q'URAN." A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his
father had purchased the car.. Finally, on the morning of his
graduation, his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.
Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound QURAN with the young man's name embossed in gold.
Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said," With all your money you give me a Quran?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the Holy book.
Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen Him since that graduation day.
But before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still new QURAN, just as he had left it years ago. With
tears, he opened the QURAN and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse, Chapter Al Ra'd, verse 28. "Without doubt, in remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction"
As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Quran. It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired.. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the
words... PAID IN FULL.
How many times..we miss the blessings of Allah subhanahu wa ta'laa because they are not packed as we expect?? .. .

I need 2 questions answered:-

1) Can one still pray after Witr? Like if I go to the mosque for Isha Prayers and perform Witr there, can I still offer the extra prayers on account of Shab-e-Barat at home?

2) How can I make most of this night as long as namaz goes? As many sets of 2 Rakah Namaz as I can?

Afaik there are no objections on praying after Witr prayers. You can pray anytime you want.

As for the nawafil namaz goes, you can read as many rakah's as you want. I think the Sunnah is to read 8 rakah's at a time. Take a break and read more later. Read the Quran. May Allah SWT accept all our prayers.
