I donated on 27th as i wrote in the pm i sent you. I haven't got any acknowledgement that my donation reached the right people

PG management (iNF3RNO & Jshak) have checked the accounts and updated the doners list. Thanks for your support. Those who are still thinking may start acting now as the time is short and goal is still at miles.

The attitude of the administration in this thread is very peculiar. That tone is just turning away donations. Its common courtesy in the international community to tell the userbase how the donations are being used. Some people go as far as posting receipts and pictures of the updated server hardware.

The donation system is also kind of primitive to be frank. A tiered system could have produced much better results.

More benefits aside, there should be more transparency, reason being is not just justification, transparency also encourages people to donate. Also politeness doesn't hurt either.

At 31% donation goal you expect me to post the pictures of the updated hardware? :fp1:International sites get donations pretty fast as people don't mind donating small amounts via Paypal, in Pakistan it's different secondly we are paying US$ via Pakistani Rupee and I am quite sure that you are aware of the dollar exchange price spikes. Instead of giving T-shirts etc I prefer to invest that on PG to eliminate the donation requests.

Still we are paying a major chunk..uppar say log batain kartay hai kay receipts dhikao..We are not asking for zaakat and we don't need few hunderd dollars to run our homes form a forum..Thanks to almighty Allah. If anyone wants to help than help..otherwise please don't.

Regarding extra donation features suggestion...we are going backward with the server specs due to lack of funds and you want us to provide extra gimmicks? lol search option band karna par gia hai with the current capacity issues. Anyway my point is: with all due respect..jis ko help karni hai tu karay, warna fazool ki bakwaas na karay (specially goes to all those burnt asses who are in favor of PG shutdown)

I have nothing against you or PG so please point your guns where they need to be. Not at the people who're trying to help. If I wanted to see receipts I wouldnt have donated, even if it was a small amount.

There are 2 simple options (1) Donate and (2) Do not donate.

If you guys feel that this is a good place / forum which provides us with lot of opportunities to discuss and exchange thoughts, brings little fun for us through its different sections, provides us opportunities to seek and extend help, helps us in replacing hardware every now and then using marketplace, gaining expertise in different gaming techs and info, and above from all you are capable to dish out a tiny part of your money, you are welcome. Those who want to recognize and appreciate these free of cost services should extend help by donating with their own free will provided they feel satisfied after donating.

However, if someone does not feel satisfied with these services OR does not feel comfortable with the donation exercise, he/she may continue availing free service as usual without any restriction until the forum is there. I dont think there is no compulsion. I am not management and not talking on behalf of PG Admn but saying what I personally feel. I'm however pretty sure that if unluckily this goes shut someday just bcoz of funds issue, many of us will be repenting and whining again that we would have donated if the situation was so tight.

So its the right time. I suggest and request to kindly step forward and help. If you cannot, please let other do it but dont make the simple things perplexed.

My God ! from January till now .. just see how many ppl donate !! and here they r suggesting to see receipts !! .. they can not see the site running !! isnt that a proof !! .. 100$ per month donation demand from all members .. not a 100$ per year member ship fees per head .. so i think if ppl can donate 5$ w/o worrying of receipts easily .. and frankly if i also see the donation amount and then the number of whining posts .. i will also get cocky .. these admin guyz r working voluntarily to keep this fourm going ..
and muftay w/o donation asking for receipts ..
