A gadget that has been on my wish list for a very long time. Finally got my hands on it, courtesy a friend who was coming from the US.

Wow.... That looks sweet, especially with that steel band... How much did it cost you...? Let us know of the highlights if not a complete review...

What do you think of moto360 in comparison to pebble steel ? @Lord Ammar
Moto 360 has been one heck of a disappointment. The display is quite low res compared to what was shown in preview pictures and that cut-off at the bottom is distracting. Battery only lasts around 12-15 hours. It runs on a FOUR year old single-core CPU where as other Android wear watches use the latest Snapdragon 400. Best to avoid Android Wear for now because OEMs are just throwing stuff at the wall to see what will stick. I bet Moto will come up with a new watch in the next few months that fixes all these issues.

What attracted me towards Pebble Steel was that
  1. It looks like a watch, a proper watch.
  2. Display is always on and is perfectly legible under sunlight. Android Wear watches display do not work under sunlight and they turn off after a few seconds.
  3. Battery lasts 5-6 days.
  4. Multi-platform support (iOS and Android). Probably Windows Phone in the near future.

Thanks for the reply.

So in your honest opinion irrespective of the costs, what is the best smart watch to get in a months time perhaps ?

Depends on your needs. If you aren't bothered by battery and sunlight legibility then a Moto 360 is a good option (provided you stick to an Android phone). However personally I would suggest you wait for the second generation of Android Wear Smartwatches because they'll solve most of these problems.
