EDIT 2: please read post #11 to help! below issue is moot now...
title says it all. this just randomly happens, not just in windows but anytime at all. sometimes the problem goes away for a little while only to come back just as bad as it was and then to go away again for a little while.
i tried:
-killing overclock and even underclocking.
-clearing CMOS by replacing the little battery on the mobo
-running memtest, came back clean(0 errors)
-replacing memory
-checking temps, all normal(CPU: 39C to 43C idle, GPU: 42C idle)
-removing GTX-460 and running on built-in graphics.
problem still there every time. as far as i know, this just suddenly started happening . advice?
EDIT: SPECS over there <<<<<<<<<
