Hey, so I'm looking for a Pakistani web hosting service. I know a couple but I have never tried any of them personally, therefore any suggestions would be appreciated. And before you suggest Pakistani hosting sucks, do note that it's not for me. A client is looking for extra-cheap options.

7k? Well, I run my blog ScientiaWeb - Your Source Of Most Amazing Technology News hosted on WebHostingPad (NOT Pakistani) and it costs like 2500-3000 per year for hosting and a 1000 rupees for the domain name, so 3500-4000 per year which is pretty good.

I know you're looking for Pakistani hosting, but define "cheap". WebHostingPad is cheap and their support rocks. I got my answers in under 5 minutes.

I don't think that Pakistani hosting would be cheap infact it would be the exact opposite of that because the bandwidth in pakistan is very expensive. I can't recommend you a good host because i have never used one had a blog few years ago however it didn't had enough traffic to merit a paid host.

The actual servers are in the US or Europe. What you have here are mostly resellers of US hosting. That is not a problem because if they offer good customer service and have trained personnel it does not matter where the actual servers are.

No one does hosting in Pakistan. By no one I mean 99% of people. There *are* local hosting options from PTCL and cubexweatherly, for example, but they are only used by large companies that need low latency hosting. For example: akamai mirrors in Pakistan for companies like Google and Facebook.

Hosting is cheaper in the west than in Pakistan because bandwidth is cheaper and they have excellent infrastructure and trained personnel.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
