yeah screw you too man!! :p that was a really annoying game. Were you with them when they used the 4 Winston combo on us?
Nah, but when we played last night with Homer and all, the other team did play 5 winston's and a Lucio. So we had trouble at beginning but we picked a couple of Bastions and they quickly changed back to normal classes and defend the payload lol.

If you want to learn how to play a widowmaker/mcCree check out surefour and Reaver from cloud 9. Reaver is by far one of the craziest widowmakers I have seen. His grapple shots headshots are a delight and in this alienware tournament, he gets quadfeed for that final payload push. hella accurate with that sniper he is. Just like dhaK as one of the best Lucios I have seen.

no point to check out how good THEY are when we can never reach that point with 200+ latency. Have had some crazy shots as widowmaker/hanzo even though i dont like snipers at all

Widowmaker is fine tbh, ping doesn't affect hitscan weapons as much as projectiles for Hanzo. Though having lower ping does give them advantage etc.

Speaking of crazy shots, poor Winston xD

I kinda like the esports scene in Overwatch. You learn a thing or two when you watch how the pros play. Tbh don't reallly feel the lag in this one but I am on console, so sniping in Overwatch on the PS4 is quite hard ( it was pretty fun and easier in destiny probably because of the scope) . Widowmaker is actually your go-to hero to take out camper bastions and sentries. Junkrat an Pharah are top choices too but mainly I have seen almost every decent team have a widowmaker to counter-snipe other widowmakers/take out senteries/camper bastions. Plus those 1 shot headshots and even the bodyshot ( apparently getting a nerf cuz it does unfair body-shot damage at 100% chargde rate) are so good for picking off mercy incase rez (also might get nerf cuz super almost every 20 secs)

[h=2]Overwatch players on PS4 lose progress after glitch without sign of return[/h][h=3]A week's gone by without a fix[/h]

A bug that cost Overwatch fans on PlayStation 4 several levels, competitive ranks and cosmetic skins still has not been resolved, according to posts on Battle.net and Reddit. Since the glitch occurred more than a week ago, players have hoped for a fix that would retrieve their lost experience and items.
Several threads popped up starting on July 11 for PS4 players claiming that their accounts had rolled back anywhere from five to 50 levels, if not altogether reset. Along with the progress loss, people reported that cosmetic skins they picked up from loot boxes had disappeared, including legendary ones; wins were also voided.

Following complaints, developer Blizzard Entertainment tweeted from the Overwatch account that it was "looking into reports of lost progression on PlayStation 4," also on July 11. A thread on Battle.net about the bug offered an update to players on July 12, the next day, stating that the "root cause for this was fixed," but Blizzard was still investigating the return of lost items and levels to players affected.
That's been the company line ever since. It's unclear just how many players lost progress due to the glitch, but all Overwatch fans can likely sympathize, especially those who have poured several hours into both Quick and Competitive Play modes since launch. We've reached out Blizzard about a possible incoming fix and will update accordingly.
For players on Windows PC, on the other hand, there's new content to try out in the Public Test Realm, including Ana, the game's first new hero. Check her out below.
[Thanks, Keith!]

[h=1]Overwatch's latest patch brings Ana to PS4 and more[/h]

Overwatch players on PlayStation 4 can now play support sniper Ana Amari through a patch released today. If you've done your homework, you'll know that Ana is one of the original members of the Overwatch strike team and also Pharah's mother.
A number of hero balancing updates have also been rolled out; self-healing abilities now charge ultimate attacks. This, however, means that the cost for ultimates has been adjusted accordingly per character. Mercy's Resurrect ability, for example, will need to charge 30 percent more than before. The long-awaited D.Va update is also included. This adds an invulnerability to her own Self-Destruct and a one-second cooldown for her Defense Matrix.
Similar to last week's MOBAwatch Brawl, Competitive Play matches will now allow your team only one of each hero per game, as confirmed by game director Jeff Kaplan earlier this month. That means no more all-Torbjörn and Bastion teams.
Other tweaks include Overtime modifications. Players will respawn two seconds slower and the fuse "burns down" faster if a match exceeds 20 seconds. You can read the rest of the patch details on Blizzard Entertainment's forums.

The update already hit Windows PC on July 19, but unfortunately Xbox One players still have to wait for their own patch.

[h=2]Latest Overwatch patch gives Ana a buff, tweaks McCree again[/h][h=3]"You are powered up, get in there!"[/h]

Blizzard rolled out a new patch for the Windows PC version of Overwatch earlier today that give’s new character Ana a boost and makes McCree a bit less effective at longer range.
Ana’s changes affect her Biotic Rifle, which now fires at a rate 20 percent faster and can hold 10 rounds, up from eight. Blizzard says the tweak will address her overall weakness. "In addition to helping her feel better to play, these changes should also increase her healing and damage output," Blizzard said in a forum post.

McCree, who saw a substantial nerf last month, see his damage falloff range decreased on his primary fire, while his alternate fire gets a 15 percent increase in rate of fire. McCree will also recover faster after throwing his flashbang.
"McCree’s latest range increase helped him quite a bit, but it was a bit too much in the right hands," Blizzard said in its patch notes. "This change weakens his long range damage somewhat, but still keeps it stronger than it has been in the recent past. The other changes combine to allow him to land more alternate fire shots on targets that he has hit with Flashbang."
Today’s Overwatch update is only available in the Windows PC version. Blizzard says the changes will be rolled into a larger update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.

[h=2]Overwatch getting new soccer-style game mode called Lúcioball[/h][h=3]Lúcio’s own Rocket League[/h]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=qpcOD9tJM4k

Blizzard’s new Summer Games limited time event for Overwatch is more than just an Olympics-themed collection of skins, sprays and emotes; the developer is also adding a new gameplay mode called Lúcioball that brings three-on-three soccer-like gameplay into Overwatch.
Lúcioball will be played on a new map set in Rio de Janeiro. Overwatch assistant director Aaron Keller describes the new mode as a fast-paced spin on soccer in which players will punch, bounce, boop and wall-ride as Lúcio to score goals.

"Understanding how Lúcio’s abilities affect the ball is the key to mastering Lúcioball," Keller said on the PlayStation Blog. "For this brawl, his primary fire has been replaced with a melee attack, allowing Lúcio to punch the ball — perfect for dribbling, passing, and shooting from short range. When you need to launch the ball across the map, Lúcio’s secondary attack emits a blast of sound that gets the job done nicely."
Lúcio will play a bit differently in the new mode. Unlike Overwatch’s other modes, Lúcio’s speed boost ability will only affect himself, not his teammates. His ultimate ability, Sound Barrier, also pulls the ball toward him, Keller said.
Overwatch’s Summer Games event also includes more than 100 seasonal items to unlock and collect. Every loot box opened during the event, which runs until Aug. 22, is guaranteed to have at least one Summer Games item.
Blizzard says there are more seasonal events on par with Summer Games coming to Overwatch.

[h=2]Get into Overwatch for free next weekend[/h][h=3]On PlayStation 4 and Xbox One[/h]

Overwatch is going free-to-play next weekend, from Sept. 9-12. Blizzard Entertainment is giving PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners a chance to try its first new franchise in years, with access to all 22 characters and every available map.
During the free period, players can earn Loot Boxes and level up characters for as long as they like. There’s no registration required to get into the game, and the full Overwatch experience is open for business from 9 a.m. PT on Friday, Sept. 9 until 4 p.m. PT on Monday, Sept. 12. If the Overwatch newbie falls hard for the game during the free weekend, they can pick up the Origins Edition release and maintain all of their progress.

On PS4, players won’t need a PlayStation Plus subscription to go online with the team-based multiplayer shooter; a subscription to Xbox Live Gold is required for Xbox One, however.
Overwatch has already attracted more than 15 million players into the fray since it launched in May. The multiplayer game has spawned an involved alternate reality game, comic books, animated shorts and more content. The character-based shooter also has a long backstory, which we charted in our timeline. Learn the history of Overwatch below before getting into the game for the first — or five hundredth — time.
Correction: The free weekend kicks off at 11 a.m. PT, a little later than we originally stated. The story above has been corrected with the right time.

you are right. Not even a single match in BO3 where you don't have disconnection issues and its only a matter of good luck where there is no disconnection or host migration issue in any lobby. Where as COD advanced warfare there are no such issues. Most of the time i am playing with saudi guys over there and having yellow pings which is quite fair to play.
