Days Gone is much more similar to Red Dead 2 than a lot of people realize ( but with some performance drops RDR2 doesn't have) . Pacing is much slower than other Sony first party open-ish games. God of War, Horizon ZD etc.

Story Progress
Just met Tucker at her camp for the first time, but decided to bring the drugs back to Copeland. Now there's a story mission at Tucker's and that's where I'm at.
Game:
Almost everywhere I looked, I read that I should first put all resources and trust towards Copeland to get their trust up. Now, I'm at trust level 2 with them and have pretty much purchased all bike upgrades (some upgrades have a third tier, like different type of tires, but those don't seem to modify the stats at all .. so it looks like for all intents and purposes, my bike is as much tooled up as it will get at this point (including nitrous).
My question is, is level 2 as far high as I should focus on Copeland for relevant Bike upgrade concerns. Or will other tiers of bike upgrades (for example a better engine or fuel tank .. not just something cosmetic) will open up at Copeland's later so I can continue sending resources their way ? or am I good to start focusing on Tucker to get more money off of them ??
Gameplay wise, I think I've already secured around 6 Nero beacons (anything I see on the map, I go explore immediately and put story stuff on the back burner). I have put 5 towards health and 1 towards Stamina. Honestly, the way I'm playing, I'm not using Focus at all so seems pointless for me to even consider that.
I have taken out 2 hordes so far. 1 in Copeland's territory and 1 in Tucker's. The second one was much more difficult but nothing I couldn't manage with my shitty early game equipment, molotov's and a spare pipe bomb or two. The capacity of items I can carry has been pretty shitty so far and I run out of things real quick.
Can someone please tell me if ambush camp rewards are random ? If now, can someone please tell me where I can find the upgrade which gives me incendiary bolts ? cause I'm getting tired of wasting all my molotov's on nests.
Performance:
Playing this on a PS4 Pro and the game looks really clean. Facial animation (especially on minor NPC's like people who you rescue) is pretty bad and whenever I'm entering Copeland or Tucker's camps, there's some real bad slowdown for a few seconds while everything loads up. Other then that the game has been really good so far. No glitches, no hitches during game play or combat. Looks like waiting for a relatively patched up version of the game before starting was a good idea.
