Missed the match. Was watching the Stoke vs. Blackburn snoozefest. =/

it was airing slightly before and during the united match

Stoke vs. Blackburn also overlapped with this match. I caught a bit of the match (a couple of points) with the score at 7-5 0-0 at the time. Didn't think Ferrer had a chance, so went back to watching the snoozefest, and fell asleep. lulz.

federer lifts the finals trophy for the record sixth time... what a season finale it's been for him.... end of season came at the wrong time for him.... let's hope he can continue this form next season... he is undefeated since the u.s open!

I hope he comes back to the sport in the new year fit and raring to go. He looks like in the kind of form, and with a hunger for the game, that I haven't seen for him in a year. Can't wait for the Australian Open to come around. Should be a cracker.

the best i've seen tsonga play for a while as well... if he gets his serve in order, he's got a great chance of downing out-of-form nadal and djokovic

Breaking news!

Andy Murray has appointed Ivan Lendl as his new full time coach.

An interesting comparison between the two is: Ivan Lendl lost his first four grand slam finals, then went on to win 8 of his next 12 grand slam finals. Murray has lost all 3 of the grand slam finals he's made so far.

djokovic won the abu dabhi cup.... though i doubt he will be able to replicate the 2011 performance.... federer should be playing with confidence but i rather doubt that as well..... good thing is that there will be no clear favourites this time around.... we're gonna see some amazing competetive tennis.... djokovic, nadal, federer, murray, ferrer, tsonga, berdych. We have an amazing 2012 ahead of us

some great matches played by aussies..... tomic comeback was beyond expectations.... hewitt vs steber was an epic match as welll.... strong character from both players.... elsewhere, stosur loses in first round LOOOOOL FAIL!!!

Yeah Tomic really looks like a good prospect. So Nadal and Fed are into the Last 16. No one from the top 4 have been tested so far. Lets see what happens in Fed vs Tomic.
